Game Development for Kids with Godot Engine - Draw Circle using GDScript

avatar

In this post, we will take a look at How to Draw Circle using GDScript in Godot Engine.

In previous tutorial, I covered how to get the screen size using the GDScript of the godot engine. And so far I noticed that a lot of you liked the video and also the tutorial was pretty good for you as a starter on this script.

Another new concept that I want to cover here is the drawing of various shapes. So this tutorial is going to be about the circle and then going to cover few other shapes and effects as that comes in.

It's very small sized software so I recommend you to download and try it out. See if the initial set of the tutorials help you with the project setup and the other small projects that you can do as well. For that I recommend you to check out the table of content.

This is the 14th Tutorial that I have written and also covering yet another video in the series. I hope that you would find these series of tutorials useful for your use case. I have also covered few previous set of the tutorials which you can look below in the table of contents.

Table of Contents of Godot Engine Tutorials

This tutorial covered the shape of circle that you can create using the GDScript. I have to also create some of the effects like those particle effects that one can do using the script. Hopefully you would find the tutorial worth trying and make use of it. Do share the video with other friends and check if it helps.

If you want to try out the similar game development tutorials using the gdevelop, you can follow this tutorial trail of GDevelop Tutorials.

I hope the current tutorial was useful to you.

We will continue the further game development topic in next post.
