Hoy he decidido dedicar este post al día del maestro. Es una fecha importante, además de que tengo muchos conocidos que trabajan en esta área. Así que por ellos me he motivado a hablar de esta efeméride.
“Venezuela celebra el 15 de enero el Día Nacional del Maestro, decretado por el General Isaías Medina Angarita en reconocimiento a las luchas iniciadas por este gremio cuando en plena dictadura gomecista, un grupo de educadores conformaron una asociación para defender los derechos laborales de los maestros y mejorar la educación en Venezuela.”

Sabemos que, Maestro es toda aquella persona que estudio esa carrera universitaria y tiene título en alguna mención. Como también la palabra lo dice, es una persona que enseña, educa, orienta. Y yo consideró que allí entramos casi todas las personas. Porque, bueno hablare desde el ejemplo de la familia en el hogar, aquí cada persona de la familia educa, enseña, desde los adultos hasta los niños. Las madres, padres, abuelas, abuelos y tíos, nos dedicamos a educar, de tratar de orientar, de enseñarle a los niños, los valores, reglas, normas, el cómo comportarse y como hablar. Eso es algo muy importante y valioso. De hecho soy partidaria de considerar que la primera y primordial enseñanza es en el hogar, la base es la familia.
Yo lo hablo desde mí, que soy hija, hermana, tía, madre y madrina. Cada uno de estos “títulos” o “etiquetas” o “cargos”, como quieras denominarlos, tienen que tratar de ser ejemplo y educar, enseñar, orientar. De eso se trata de ser Maestro.
Pero también se tiene que reconocer a todos los que tienen un título y se dedican a enseñar, en un aula de clase, a través del internet, en persona, etc. Porque estas personas son capaces de enseñar a mucho niños y jóvenes al mismo tiempo. Para eso se tiene que tener vocación, paciencia, amor a lo que haces, y la realidad es que todos no estamos llamado a eso. Por esa razón es momento de que se les celebre a todos eso educadores, motivados, que se dedican a eso.
Aquí en el municipio Sucre, de la Ciudad de Cagua, Estado Aragua, País Venezuela, la alcaldía los deja celebrar esta fecha de una manera muy buena, en un club deportivo dejan que realicen por una semana varios juegos. Que se enfrenten cada escuela en la parte deportiva, como voleibol, kikimbol, bolas criollas, domino. Considero que es muy bueno que puedan desestresarse de una manera deportiva y compartir con todas las instituciones que hacen vida en el municipio. De verdad se divierten y pueden incluir a algunos familiares.
Bueno, en fin Gracias a todos los educadores, hacen una gran labor y más si nace del corazón. Felicidad y bendiciones.

Mothers, fathers, grandmothers, grandfathers, grandfathers and uncles, we dedicate ourselves to educate, to try to guide, to teach the children values, rules, norms, how to behave and how to speak. That is something very important and valuable. In fact, I am in favor of considering that the first and primordial teaching is at home, the basis is the family.
I speak from my own perspective, as a daughter, sister, aunt, mother and godmother. Each of these "titles" or "labels" or "positions", whatever you want to call them, must try to be an example and to educate, teach, guide. That is what being a teacher is all about.
But you also have to recognize all those who have a title and are dedicated to teaching, in a classroom, through the internet, in person, etc. Because these people are capable of teaching many children and young people at the same time. For that you have to have vocation, patience, love for what you do, and the reality is that we are not all called to that. That is why it is time to celebrate all those motivated educators who are dedicated to this.
Here in the municipality of Sucre, in the city of Cagua, Aragua State, Venezuela, the mayor's office lets them celebrate this date in a very good way, in a sports club they let them play several games for a week. Each school plays against each other in sports, such as volleyball, kikimbol, bolas criollas, dominoes. I think it is very good that they can de-stress in a sporting way and share with all the institutions that make life in the municipality. They really have fun and can include some family members.
