LOH CONTEST #57: SUNSHINE!

SO... WHAT'S WITH THE TITLE?

I know right? How creative of me. I decided to answer the second question: Who or what is your home screen picture and why?

My home screen picture is that of my Romanian friend. Her name's Rebecca but I call her Sunshine.

WHAT'S WITH THE NAME?

I gave her that nickname because she hated it. When I first conversed with Rebecca, she was so rude. Very rude.

For some reason, I couldn't let her be though. After a rather rattling argument, I reached out to her and she told me to "back off". Guess what? It fueled my need to know her. Why? I really don't know.

I kept sending messages and she kept ignoring until I found out that she reacts to the name Sunshine. So I used it all the time and she would reply with "stop calling me that." 😂

It was a start but I wasn't finished.

UH-OH...

Uh-oh is right. She was always so moody and dark but at the same time she was very real. She doesn't sugar coat her words and would tell you like it is. I really wanted to get to know her.

One thing we seemed to have in common was our Christianity and I used that to my advantage to get her to talk to me.

Then, I would ask her how her day went and if she ate. She loathed those questions but it got a rise out of her. Something I soooo enjoyed because she'd get annoyed and start yapping and I really enjoyed it. 😂

However, I think I grew on her because even when she got insensitive once and managed to make me back off, she came back asking if I was already tired of her. I replied with she wanted me to stay away and she could have sent me a message if she wanted to talk.

Long story short, we made up and I got back to annoying her but she didn't seem to mind. Her "stop calling me that" depleted by 95%. At a time I began to call her Solnyshka (Russian for Sunshine) and she didn't tell me off. See where this is going? 😏

WHOA...

Yep. After much pleading, she sent me the very first picture.

She looked so bored yet so beautiful. She got upset that I used it for a wallpaper asking, "Why would you do that?!" I'd never forget 😂. But she quickly forgot about it and she opened up more to me.

Sunshine has moods that I've already mastered. Well some.

I know when she's not in the mood to talk and I know when she gets chatty. I won't say how because she'll read this post (and she'll get so angry that I wrote about her and put her picture on here beginning with WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?!) and know then try to frustrate me all over again. She's evil like that 😂.

Anyway, She's a great go-to friend even if she'd never accept it. She's also an amazing artiste. She draws so well and loves The Hobbit. She can be sweet without knowing and annoying and then goes back again to melt your heart with her sweet poison. She refers to me as a child but fact, I'm two years older 😂.

She has a great sense of humor, also great roasting techniques (in Nigeria we call it yabbing) and speaks fluent sarcasm. Kinda reminds me of a certain white dude (won't tag him but if he reads this he knows). She's also the owner of two beautiful cats; Fluffy and Minnie. I like Fluffy a lot. It has black fur and looks like the total hogger. Who else thinks it's totally ironic to name a cat after a mouse? I do. Lol. Just in case you're wondering, Minnie is the girlfriend to Mickey the Mouse.

All in all, she's an amazing person even if she doesn't believe it. Lol. We also had quite the argument last night.😂
