LIFE AFRESH CHALLENGE WEEK 2: TAKING IT UP A NOTCH!

Good Morning people. Hehehe. It's a beautiful Friday isn't it? A wonderful day to all my Lady Hivers. I know it's coming late but HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY !πŸŽ‰ You all are the best.

This would be my second entry for the Dreemy challenge and to be honest, I don't know why I've been feeling muddleheaded as of late. I find it hard to truly concentrate on something or even understand what I'm concentrating on. Which is why I had to read this post by Dreemsteem about three times to fully understand what was expected of me and it still felt like I understood nothing. (I just hope I'm doing this right).

My first week was undoubtedly very challenging. Why? I had to set goals afresh! If you don't set goals or haven't done so in a while, you'd understand that goal setting can be a mentally exhausting exercise. It's totally insane but it makes life easier...

Even so, I didn't meet up with so many of them. Remember that thing I said one time about you leaving something and then it leaves you? Yep! I'm so...messed upπŸ˜‘

The only goals I seemed to accomplish last week was praying, resuming my workout, posting daily (no matter how much I didn't want to) and reading. However, things took a turn this week and I don't think it's good but I'll be working on it...

Firstly, I slacked in my prayers from Tuesday till Thursday. I missed writing a post on Wednesday (mostly because I was too exhausted to even think), I didn't meet my target with engagement, and I wasn't able to keep to my target of using @dreemport through out this week. Yes, that part got to me but guess what? It wasn't a total failure.

I also drank more water than I did through out 2021(definitely an exaggeration but 🀷), I am consistent with my workout(I went out yesterday as I have decided to workout thrice a week) and I met more than half of my set goals towards personal development this week. It means so much to me. Which leads me to excitedly set more goals for next week.

I plan to take it up a notch this coming week. I would be moving my game and would work tooth and nail to accomplish them; towards my spiritual and physical goals alike...

What would set me back is what I'll call "ProcastiDeraa". She can be quite discouraging and very pessimistic. I've been working on her though, talking to her even. She's like a child who's been disappointed way too much and can't trust anyone. She trusts me though (she has to because we are one and the same person πŸ™‚) and I have been propelling her towards healthy living.

How could I forget?!

Yes! I have also been eating more healthy. Remember I have written a few articles of how much I've been depressed? Yeah, depression can make you eat junk and still magically not gain a single kg.

So for this 6 weeks(and hopefully forever) no soda, no sweets, more fruits and vegetables.

Infact, I avoided frying my yam and plantain, boiling them instead and eating them with sauce made from fresh tomatoes, carrots, fresh pepper and onions. No added coloring or spices just salt and some crayfish.

It was amazing after because I drank more water and ate some fruits later and then after an hour or so, I was out like a light. I woke up feeling invigorated.

The great thing about this challenge is that it makes us review our progress and then recognize where we are missing out on. Glad that you are on to a healthier diet and drinking more water too. Bravo and let's keepπŸ’ͺ We can all do thisπŸ’ͺ

It seems this week everyone slacked. Despite that, I'd still say you did extremely well, eating wise, drinking wise, exercise wise and so on. I'm pretty sure next week you will handle procastiDeraa xd.

You did well and already understands the task. The only thing left is that image from dreemport, you needed to get a copy of it and tick what task you did or not. If you can't use it, find a way to list out the tasks and rate your self. I think that's all you didnt do, other things are fine.

I am glad you are eating healthier, so the challenge is a success. YOu are conscious of what you are doing. Everything in moderation is what I say. It is okay to eat some junk food now and then.

I hope you are less depressed and I think you digested the information on the challenge post because you posted this perfectly!

Good luck for the remaining weeks and of course continuing it after the challenge has finished!
