Has HIVE finally Built its Price Floor?

Having spent more than 5 years on this incredibly valuable piece of tech, I have contributed quite a few views, impactful or not, on the direction I would hope hive to move towards.

TLDR --->

1. Be more than a blogging platform.
2. Faster power downs.
3. Others were communities,swaps, and DEFI which have so far been achieved in some form.

DeFi, in particular, has been what I have been excited for the most on Hive. It solves so many issues, especially on a feeless blockchain.

For one, it creates diversity which solves challenge number one (be more than a blogging platform).

What is that one reason for you to hold onto your Hive bags? If you are not so much into staking for over 3 months, you have an alternative. You can take your coins and sink them into a pool, either on Tribal Dex, or on CubDefi. You will probably want to go with the latter for bigger yields.

That brings me to the main question. Can we finally identify a consistent price floor for Hive?

I think, Yes!

Since we are in a bear market it has been quite pleasing to see the price of Hive hold consistently around $0.5.

I have been watching quite keenly trying to pick up some cheap Hive like before around $0.3 but those days seem to be in the past.

A lot of this price stability has a lot to do with the utility of the token. It has gone from being exclusively a blogging token to yield token thanks to the work of the Leofinance team with Cub Defi. If your are not into yield farming on other chains, staking on Hive the blockchain also yields a healthy 20% on HBD. There is more reason to hold Hive and its underlying tokens now more than ever.

I believe this is what has helped to consolidate a loyal, diamond-handed core of Hive hodlers. Not to forget some of the most visible Gen 1's like Dan who have been there since the beginning and hodled through tough times without cashing out.

This is how Hive should proceed!

I look forward to a time when I can use my Hive Power as collateral for a HBD loan. I would love to put up a whole apartment block with crypto sometime in the not so distant future. Can we make that happen?
