the tragedy of Orpheus - la tragedia de Orfeo

As Greek mythology told, Orpheus was the greatest musician in ancient Greece. He used a lyre to create lovely melodies.
Her wife, the beautiful Eurydice, one day while walking was bitten by snakes.
Orpheus found the body of his beloved one dead and poisoned by the snakes.

En la mitología griega, Orfeo fue el más grande músico de la antigua Grecia. Utilizaba una lira para crear bellas melodías.
Su esposa, la hermosa Eurídice, un día mientras caminaba pisó unas serpientes, las cuales la mordieron.
Orfeo encontró el cuerpo de su amada muerta por el veneno.

Desperate, Orpheus took his lyre and traveled to the underworld to find his beloved one. There he played his most moving melody to Hades, the king of the underworld and his wife the queen Persephone. Affected by the music, they decided to give it him a chance: Orpheus should walk to the upper world while Eurydice would follow behind, but he could not look back at any time, otherwise, Eurydice would remain in the world of the dead forever.

Desesperado, Orfeo tomó su lira y viajó al inframundo a buscar a su amada. Allí tocó su melodía más conmovedora a Hades, el rey del inframundo y su esposa la reina Perséfone. Conmovidos, decidieron darle una oportunidad: Orfeo debería caminar hasta el mundo superior mientras Eurídice lo seguiría detrás, pero él no podría mirar hacía atrás en ningún momento, de lo contrario, Eurídice permanecería en el mundo de los muertos para siempre.

They both walked through the entire underworld. When they reached the upper world, seeing the light, Orpheus stopped hearing Eurydice's footsteps and turned around. When he looked at her he understood his fatal mistake, she had not yet crossed into the world of the living.
Having failing the challenge, she vanished and he lost her forever.

Ambos caminaron y recorriendo todo el inframundo. Cuando Llegaron al mundo superior, al ver la luz, Orfeo dejó de escuchar los pasos de Eurídice y se dio la vuelta. Cuando la miró comprendió su error fatal, ella aun no había cruzado al mundo de los vivos.
Habiendo roto el desafío, ella se desvaneció y la perdió para siempre.
