illustration process: beaten ENG ESP arte NFT

hi hivers! I am sharing you a new piece I minted on Dartroom, a NFt gallery based on Algorand.
Today I was with low energy, so I inspired on that, and I wanted to portray a person with an eye punched, like if it was beaten or something like that. I also want to mix it with photoshop splatter brushes to add a grunge look to the art, so I will be mixing all in three steps: 1- Base drawing using vectors in adobe Illustrator, 2- Photoshop brushes and 3- After effects animation and filters.
So let's put hands to work!
First we start drawing the basic shape on Illustrator. I'm drawing with the pen tool using just the mouse. I drew this shapes and I will fuse them, and I am drawing the face.

Hoy estaba con poca energía, así que me inspiré en eso, y quería retratar a una persona con un ojo machucado, como si estuviera golpeado o algo así. También quiero mezclarlo con pinceles de salpicadura de Photoshop para agregar un aspecto sucio al arte, por lo que mezclaré todo en tres pasos: 1- Dibujo base usando vectores en Adobe Illustrator, 2- Pinceles de Photoshop y 3- Animación After Effects y filtros.

Primero comenzamos a dibujar la forma básica en Illustrator. Estoy dibujando con la herramienta Pluma usando solo el mouse. Dibujé estas formas y las fusionaré, y estoy dibujando la cara.

Let's add some more details. I'm also separating all in different layers so it will be easy for animation later.

Agreguemos algunos detalles más. También estoy separando todo en diferentes capas para que sea fácil para la animación más adelante.

Time for splatter! I'm using the Photoshop brushes for creating this grunge texture all over the place, and to stain the bruised eye.

Now I'm animating all the pieces on After effects. I also applied some filters for playing with the colors too.
