The last photo I took and a little story behind it

Normally my boss usually get orders of cakes with requested designs and reasonable stories as to why they want that particular design of cakes, some children might say they want some particular designs of cartoon characters because it’s there favorite cartoon, while some adults choose designs based on their personality or maturity.

Firstly when this order came in, it was an urgent order, it came in yesterday being Wednesday and we delivered that same Wednesday, normally a cake order is supposed to atleast come in within three or two days interval, but because the lady was my bosses friend and she brings jobs regularly we had to consider her.
But the first issue they had was that the price she wanted to pay was too small, the lady said she wanted a 15,000 naira cake, of which materials are so expensive and it wouldn’t be possible, after much discussion they finally came to an agreement.

So my boss asked the lady to give her child’s best cartoon character, but to our greatest surprise, the client said that her daughter didn’t want any cartoon character to be on it and she didn’t want her age to be the on it too.

According to the client, she said her daughter wanted a matured design.. she first of all brought a design about a drunk girl that that drank to stupor and fell on top the cake and was also vomiting.. when I heard this I bursted out into laughter..like what kind of design is that?? For an 11years old girl!
My boss had to reject the design because the girl was too young for that kind of design.

Since the girl didn’t want a typical child design, my boss and I just had to go with the flow, while we were designing the cake, we had cut out so many designs before and we were trying out different designs and looking for the perfect one that would fit it, to the extent my boss wanted to put a kissing sticker on it.
But at the end the we later arrived at this particular design, although this type of design are for the teenagers but since an 11years old child doesn’t want to be a child anymore, we had to give her something different.
