This is my entry for this week's ecotrain question of the week and it is a question that almost everyone can relate to due to the fact that it has to do with something we all yearn for in our lives. We all hope for miracles to happen in our family, business, the lives of our loved ones and so on.
As a Christian, I have heard so many people give testimonies about the goodness of God in their lives and that of their children, husband or wife and so on. There are people who have been seeking for the fruit of the womb for several years in their marriage that got babies in a miraculous way when they weren't expecting. Some who have been going through one health issues or another have been able to receiving their healing in what seems like a miracle because they have given up on ever getting healed.
We all experience miracles in our lives even though it does not always look like that because we didn't go through so much to get it. For instance, the position that you are today, is someone's prayer point that they go to church to pray about everyday. You're a graduate but you are unemployed, right? And you're complaining that God has forsaken you, there is someone somewhere that have been writing entrance examination into the University for more than four times but all to no avail. Ain't you lucky to have passed that stage? Some of these things may look like a norm just because you got it on a platter of God, but is a miracle - God's doing.
I can testify that I have been experiencing God's faithfulness in my life since the day I was born and in a miraculous way he has always been there for me. There are times when it will look like I have reached the end of the road, but he will create a way for me where there seems to be no way. After the University, it was very difficult to get a job even after submitting applications here and there. I was lucky enough to be shortlisted for a couple of interviews but it was all to no avail. The manner with which I got my first job was one that I do not understand because I wasn't expecting it at the time I got it.
At that point, I already gave up on applying for jobs or attending interviews as I was fed up of the usual response of "we will get back to you". But on a particular day, I received a WhatsApp message from a friend who told me to send my credentials to a particular company that has a vacancy. Reluctantly, I submitted my application to their email and I was shortlisted for a video-based interview which I passed to the next level. I attended the in person interview and that was how I got the job. It was a miracle for me because I was losing hope but all of a sudden I got all i have been looking for for ages.
