It Seemed Like a Nice Neighborhood to Have Bad Habits In ~ Noir Japan
Gotta watch out in these old areas.
From one of my photowalks. I just loved how it came out and it immediately made me think of some old Detective Noir Hollywood film.
Japan would make a great setting for a Philip Marlowe yarn.
Japan has many great detective stories. The Kosuke Kindaichi series may be the best. But Kindaichi is more like Columbo. I don't think I've yet come across any Japanese detective that has more of a Marlowe feel. (But if you have, please let me know in the comments)
