Disfrutando del Carnaval en familia // (Esp/Eng)

Hola a todos, estoy de vuelta para contarles como viví un día de carnaval viendo las comparsas con mi familia. Sabemos que esta festividad tiene un gran significado en nuestro país, ya que es parte de la tradición venezolana que disfrutamos cada año, aquí eligen a sus reinas, a su rey, momo, hay desfiles de comparsas y carrozas, todos ellos son realmente entretenidos que nos llenan de alegría. Personalmente, tenía mucho tiempo sin disfrutar de estas fiestas y realmente esta ocasión fue maravillosa y me trajo muchos recuerdos cuando disfrazaba a mi hijo. El carnaval es muy divertido.

Hello everyone, I'm back to tell you how I lived a day of carnival watching the comparsas with my family. We know that this festivity has a great meaning in our country, since it is part of the Venezuelan tradition that we enjoy every year, here they choose their queens, their king, momo, there are parades of comparsas and floats, all of them are really entertaining that fill us with joy. Personally, I had a long time without enjoying these festivities and really this occasion was wonderful and brought back many memories when I used to dress up my son. Carnival is a lot of fun.

Por eso, este año que estoy en Maturín, estado Monagas, decidí darme una vuelta por el lugar donde se iban a realizar los desfiles de las comparsas para disfrutarlos y pasar un buen rato en familia. Así que ayer tomamos la decisión de asistir y verlos ya que son entretenidos y encantadores, dado que es la comunidad la que participa con gran alegría.

Therefore, this year that I am in Maturin, Monagas State, I decided to take a walk around the place where the parades of the comparsas were going to take place to enjoy them and have a good time with the family. So yesterday we made the decision to attend and watch them since they are entertaining and charming, given that it is the community who participate with great joy.

En esta ocasión asistí con mi familia, incluyendo a mi nieto Gael, @nathyortiz y su pareja, además de mi esposo Aníbal. Estas comparsas desfilaron por la avenida Raúl Leoni. Les puedo decir amigos que en esta avenida había un gran equipo de seguridad presente, también noté que había gradas para descansar, música en cada esquina y baños móviles. Durante el desfile, me atrevería a decir que participaron más de 80 comparsas de diferentes sectores, hubo mucho colorido y diversión, una gran cantidad de personas asistieron a disfrutar de este colorido desfile, aunque no tuvimos acceso a ellos, ya que había rejas de contención por razones de seguridad.

On this occasion I attended with my family, including my grandson Gael, @nathyortiz and her partner, plus my husband Aníbal. These parades paraded down Raul Leoni Avenue. I can tell you friends that in this avenue there was a great security team present, I also noticed that there were bleachers to rest, music in every corner and mobile toilets. During the parade, I would dare to say that more than 80 comparsas from different sectors participated, there was a lot of color and fun, a large number of people attended to enjoy this colorful parade, although we did not have access to them, as there were containment fences for security reasons.

Personalmente disfruté de varias comparsas, aunque algunas no me convencieron tanto por la falta de color. Debo suponer que no todas tienen las mismas posibilidades. También disfruté de sus bailes y me sentí muy cómodo en el espacio. Pero esta vez fue diferente, me lo pasé bien y mi familia también. Otra cosa que me llamó la atención fue que la gente jugaba con agua en la calle.

Personally, I enjoyed several comparsas, although some of them did not convince me so much because of the lack of color. I must assume that not all of them have the same possibilities. I also enjoyed their dances and felt very comfortable in the space. But this time it was different, I had a good time, and so did my family. Another thing I noticed was that people were playing with water in the street.

He disfrutado de carnavales en diferentes lugares como Cumaná, Carúpano, Mochima, Santa Fe, Guanta, Puerto la Cruz, Caripe, y actualmente en Maturín, entre otros. Lo que más me gusta de los carnavales en Venezuela es el esplendor, la variedad de colores y la alegría que los caracteriza, así como el esfuerzo que cada persona pone para mantener viva esta tradición. Para mi estas experiencias fueron altamente positivas, se llevaron a cabo de manera excelente, con buena organización, diversión y un ambiente sano y agradable para los asistentes, saludos a todos. I have enjoyed carnivals in different places such as Cumaná, Carúpano, Mochima, Santa Fe, Guanta, Puerto la Cruz, Caripe, and currently in Maturín, among others. What I love most about the carnivals in Venezuela are the splendor, the variety of colors and the joy that characterizes them, as well as the effort that each person puts into keeping this tradition alive. For me, these experiences were highly positive; they were carried out in an excellent way, with good organization, fun and a healthy and pleasant atmosphere for the attendees, greetings to all.
