EL BALCON MUNDIAL ⚽ [En/Es]
Juan was a child in a wheelchair who was born with a strange disease that prevented him from walking, he lived with his mother Maria in a room; she worked daily at a traffic light selling candy, soccer albums and cleaning the windows of cars.
Until one day Maria had an accident that took her to the hospital for several days, she in the midst of her pain worried about her son, although a nurse took pity on them and allowed Juan to live in the hospital (Juan played daily to be a soccer player in a section under construction where he ran with his chair).
There Maria met a roommate who had terminal cancer and told her about his difficult life situation; the man proposed a deal that he would take care of an old 7-story building and in exchange he could stay there while he located a family member who was in another country.
The man was pleased with Juan and Maria's company until she recovered and accepted the man's proposal to live there.
The days passed and Maria settled in the old building occupying a small apartment on the second floor with her son in mind. This place had a large patio in the center of the building and she went to work every day from morning to night at the traffic light and left Juan locked up with padlocks playing on the second floor; sometimes they visited the man in the hospital thanking him for his help; until he died and left them a note.
Maria felt a little sad because no school would accept Juan because of his condition and she couldn't afford a private school where Juan could study; but she went to a library to borrow some books where at night she taught Juan to read and a little math.
Maria noticed that over time the boy was advancing very fast and did not know why; although she asked Juan and he told her that his friends upstairs.
She was disoriented and wondered why, knowing that the upper floors were in bad condition and that they were the only tenants in the building.
What happened was that when Maria went to work every day, one floor was illuminated in a certain order and a child, a young man and a man taught her from above different knowledge (English, French, calculus, among other things).
Juan grew up and was able to recover 50 percent of mobility in his legs, he graduated with honors in his career of Sports Degree ( soccer technician ). In reality the man had no family and left the building to these people; they remodeled it and created an institute even with a small court to help people with reduced mobility and the friends on the floors were actually the old man in various versions of his life; Juan understood this when he could go up for the first time to the third floor where there was an album with photos of his friends.
In this world we are all the same, we are all here to help...
