My Actifit Report Card: May 17 2022

I worked my last shift today so now I have three off!

I finished at 2pm. The weather has been fabulous all day with the highest temperatures this year, 25°C. I wanted to get out on my bike straight away but had a few things to do first, which took up a few hours of my time. But eventually I did go out for a spin on the mountain bike. By this time the clouds had rolled in! However, it was still warm, so.....

After cycling to Buchan Park I took the bridal path up through Holmbush forest.
This is a long track and lovely when it's dry like today. It ends on the Colgate to Pease Pottage road. I turned left for about a mile along the road (l like to minimize road riding as much as possible).
I remembered a short cut through a golf course that I took a few years ago. This was good as the sun came out and I took this shot!

I spotted the radar station ahead and took the main pic.

At the end of the track, turning left through a private school grounds into another track along the side of the golf course. Some beautiful Wellingtonia trees came into view.

Then a very gloomy dark part of the track. Looks much darker than the pictures show!

I finished up back at Buchan Park where I started. About 7.5 miles today, that was enough after working.
