I hope you are great, today I want to show you food photography content, a recent wonderful job I did to a restaurant, from a friend, which you could see in my previous photography post, she is a business woman with several ventures, and has put her trust in my eye, so we have come out to show what we have, this series of shots, are of a set of fast food dishes, from her restaurant, dishes chosen by the chef, that is I did not choose these dishes, but I asked for some that looked good to get the most out of them, but I asked for some of them to look nice to get the most out of them, anyway for the next series of photos that I will take of his dishes, I will decide which dishes could be more attractive according to the place and the light, to have more beautiful results, there were not many elements that day to compose the scene so we had to improvise certain things, because it was a quick organization, let's see the results, I hope you like them, they were made with a lot of effort<3
Hola que tal estáis amigos míos?, como estan todos? Espero que estén geniales, hoy les quiero mostrar contenido de fotografía de comida, un reciente trabajo maravilloso que hice a un restaurant, de una amiga, la cual pudieron ver en mi anterior post de fotografía, es una mujer empresaria con varios emprendimientos, y ha puesto su confianza en mi ojo, así que hemos salido a relucir lo que tenemos, esta serie de tomas, son de un conjunto de platillos de comida rápida, de su restaurant, platillos elegidos por el chef, es decir yo no elegí estos platos, pero pedí algunos que se vieran guapos para sacar el mayor provecho, de todas formas para la próxima serie de fotos que hare a sus platillos, yo decidiré que platillos podrían ser mas atractivos según el lugar y la luz, para tener resultados mas bonitos, tampoco habían ese día muchos elementos para componer la escena así que tuvimos que improvisar ciertas cosas, debido a que fue una organización rápida, veamos los resultados, espero os gusten, se hicieron con mucho esfuerzo<3
For these photographs I used a Nikon D5100 and two lenses, a 50mm at 1.4f and a 35mm at 1. 8f, very good focal lengths that help you get excellent sharpness and great contrast, these photographs were organized spontaneously, something more improvised, I wanted to expand my portfolio of gastronomic photography, since I do not have much content of this type, so I made the proposal to this place, 293 is called, is a restaurant of a model friend, a very nice place with excellent service and very tasty food, the only drawback they have is the type of content for their networks and menus, so the proposal fell very well, as a ring to the finger, is a photoshoot, divided into two parts, with several types of dishes, for this were some dishes, half, is a place where you can perceive quite fast food, as it is also a small place to share and drink some cocktails, drinks not so strong but that accompany the food well.
Para estas fotografías use una Nikon D5100 y dos lentes, un 50mm a 1.4f y un 35mm a 1.8f, muy buenas focales que te ayudan a obtener una excelente nitidez y un gran contraste, estas fotografías fueron organizadas de forma espontanea, algo mas improvisado, quería ampliar mi portafolio de fotografía gastronómica, ya que no tengo mucho contenido de este tipo, por eso hice la propuesta a este lugar, 293 se llama, es un restaurant de una amiga modelo, un lugar muy bonito con una excelente atención y comida muy sabrosa, el único inconveniente que tienen es el tipo de contenido para sus redes y menús, por eso la propuesta les cayo muy bien, como anillo al dedo, es un photoshoot, dividido en dos partes, con varios tipos de platos, para este fueron algunos platillos, la mitad, es un lugar en donde se puede percibir bastante la comida rápida, ya que es un lugar también pequeño para compartir y beber algunos cocteles, bebidas no tan fuertes pero que acompañan bien la comida
I chose a warmer temperature because of the rustic style that was there, I had not seen as such the place and its space, or its light, or where exactly I could take the pictures there, but when I arrived and saw the light coming through the windows, that warm tone of the way so characteristic, then I decided to give an original touch with my colors in editing or color grading, my tones of my brand, because they are oriented or focused to warm tones and a type of frontal light with some background shadow, that is to say that it fit very well, the colors, I was focused on giving that contrast to each shot, while I made them to achieve those beautiful colors at the time of developing the photographs, Also according to the concept in my head I had to give details to the food, and this is achieved with a good contrast, in the absence of artificial light, natural light is used, if you have a light that enters through a window or door, and at the other end you have some shadow, something dark, you will give a pretty cool personality to your shots, studio type or with good contrast not so direct, because the light does not have to be so direct, only if you want, but in my case, that front light bounced off a wall giving a nice ambient light except for the outdoor shots, that if you use 100% sunlight, at an hour of 5pm.
Elegí una temperatura mas cálida debido al estilo rustico que había, tampoco había visto como tal el lugar y su espacio, o su luz, o donde podría exactamente hacer las fotos allí, pero al llegar y ver la luz entrando por las ventanas, ese tono cálido de la manera tan característico, entonces decidí darle un toque original con mis colores en edición o color grading, mis tonos de mi marca, porque están orientados o enfocados a tonos cálidos y un tipo de luz frontal con algo de sombra de fondo, es decir que calzaba muy bien, los colores, me enfrasque en darle ese contraste a cada toma, mientras las hacia para poder lograr esos bonitos colores a la hora de revelar las fotografías, además de que también según el concepto en mi cabeza tenia que darle detalles a la comida, y esto se logra con un buen contraste, a falta de luz artificial, se usa la natural, si tienes una luz que entra por una venta o puerta, y al otro extremo tienes algo de sombra, algo oscura, le darás una personalidad bastante cool a tus tomas, tipo estudio o con buen contraste no tan directo, porque la luz tampoco tiene que estar tan directa, solo si quieres, pero en mi caso, esa luz frontal rebotaba de una pared dándole una luz bonita de ambiente a excepción de las tomas en exterior, que si se uso la luz del sol 100%, a una hora de las 5pm
If you look closely at the shots of the pizza, you can see a different type of light, it is because some light shines through the window, not directly but it gave it some appetizing character, also that same light bounced from the floor and then from the walls, filling the scene, now if the sun was watching the food directly from the side it would not have looked good, there are some shots with that light and they do not look good, I would not recommend it unless it is part of the concept, although in the professional field the zenithal light scheme is usually used, either naturally or artificially, in the same way they were very good with those warm tones, because the wood also bounces light of the same warm color, I always recommend to see references before taking the shots, whatever the type of photography that will be done in order to obtain optimal results, and thus be prepared for all types of environments, all types of light, situations, in which you must analyze quickly.
Si se fijan bien en las tomas de la pizza, podrán ver un tipo de luz diferente, es porque algunos brillos de luz atravesaban la ventana no directamente pero le dio algo de carácter apetitoso, además esa misma luz rebotaba del piso y luego de las paredes, llenando la escena, ahora si el sol estuviese viendo la comida directamente de forma lateral no hubiese quedado bien, hay algunas tomas con esa luz y no se ven bien, no la recomendaría al menos que sea parte del concepto, aunque en el campo profesional se suele usar el esquema de luz cenital, así sea de forma natural o artificial, de igual forma quedaron muy bien con esos tonos cálidos, porque la madera también rebota luz de su mismo color cálido, siempre recomiendo ver referencias antes de hacer las tomas, sea cual sea el tipo de fotografía que se hará para así poder obtener resultados óptimos, y así estar preparados para todo tipo de ambientes, todo tipo de luz, situaciones, en las que debes analizar rápidamente.

Recuerden siempre intentar hacer un excelente trabajo y dar lo mejor de si en cualquier situación, espero les haya gustado esta presentación de mis nuevas fotos de comida, fue un gran esfuerzo tomarlas, y además degustar un poco la comida, yo diría que esta 10 de 10, es grandioso tomar fotos de tipo gastronómico, es genial cuando te apasiona la cocina, es un arte maravilloso, me encantaría sinceramente en algún futuro poder trabajar mucho mas con la comida en el campo de la fotografía, con mas producciones elaboradas, estaría estupendo, será cuestión de tiempo, ya veremos, los dejo por ahora amigos, espero hayan disfrutado de mi contenido, os quiero mucho, una brazo y sigamos con el buen arte<3
