life and its meaning

Life finds meaning in one way or another because it is limited by death. In this limited period of time, throughout our lifetime, what have we found or created in it? What have we become so far? And what do we want to be before we die? If only life is timeless, then we don't need to be that important to find its meaning. It could be tomorrow or sometime, according to our mood. But the reality is not. Because death is a certainty.

So, interpreting death is an integral part of interpreting life. The history of the life we ​​live in is like a short narrative about a human being. Who is born, lives life, then finally dies. If we do not have the right concept to compose all of this, then it seems absurd. Because whatever and however we struggle, we can never avoid death.

The fact that this soul is immortal, and will continue to exist after death, is a topic discussed in many stories of reality. Be it religion, spirituality, even science, it is doing its best to uncover this reality. But the truth seems to be shrouded in a fog of mystery. So that what remains is only a matter of taste, faith or personal belief. But it is different with philosophy which tries to reveal it rationally. By presenting various arguments, religious philosophy seeks to prove the immortality of the soul.

Beyond all that, regardless of whether the soul is immortal or perishes with death, there is an important question that challenges to be answered as we live. Namely, "What am I?" The answer to that question will provide a glimmer of light that may be able to get rid of the mist of mystery even a little and for a moment. Because self-knowledge is the beginning and source of any knowledge about anything else.
