My Fan-art of Roronoa Zoro.

I recently became an anime fan aka weeb. Well, I do like comic books since my childhood but recently it was some youtube review videos that raised my interest in anime/manga. I recently finished watching "Deamon Slayer" which was truly amazing. The animation, action, emotion, love between brother and sister. I was like, damn bro, who are they, how do they even make something like this. It's unbelievable how some drawings that are done on a computer can touch the deepest part of our hearts. Currently, I'm watching an anime named "One Piece". Honestly, this one seems a little childish to me but I'm enjoying it and the story is getting better day by day. I usually don't have the time to watch more than one ep or sometimes even a whole episode. And I think if I continue at this pace my hair might turn white till I finish this one. The main character is named Luffy but I like Roronoa Zoro the most. His fighting style and personality, everything is cool. And that is why I decided to draw his character and share it with you all.

I googled his name and downloaded an image and then redrew it. I used my graphics tablet and Autodesk Sketchbook as always. I now share the steps of my drawing.

  • In the first place, I built the main figure of the drawing. Normally I first make one with a pencil and then use a slim brush to bring out the final and sharp look. But, this one wasn't that hard and I directly used the brush though there was a lot of erasing and undoing I think I was able to bring out the exact look that I wanted.

  • Then I used a soft brush to color it. I normally use the fill tool to color but this time I want to make some changes and try out something new.

  • Final step with some of the layers.

I hope you liked my work. And I also have another thing that I want to share. I used to use HTML in my previous posts to decorate my writing. But, recently I learned about the markup styling guide and from there I learned about some easy codes/symbols that I can use to design my posts easily. And I'd like to thank hive for this one.

Happy Blogging and Have a nice day.
