Valley of the Five Lakes ~ Camera Roll
The Valley of the Five lakes hike was our very fist hike of the Summer. Located just south of Jasper, Alberta, on the Icefields Parkway (also known as highway 93 North). The weather was actually quite nice and warm, with the odd patches of cloud. These are the first photos I took. By the way, in case you haven’t heard, there is a new photography community dedicated to colour as well as black and white photographers. Colour / Black & White is the community. I will be curating qualifying posts. What are you waiting for? Join now!

The cloud didn't seem white enough. feels like it was about to rain or something. I actually think the first shot sold it. It was magnificent, imagine all that talk trees hiding the beauty of that icy mountain. Phew! The lens don't disappoint.
It did lightly rain actually, but in the Rockies here, the weather can change in a heartbeat! The second, and third photo are blue skies, but the photos were taken only about 5 min after the first in a slightly different direction.
Hahaha seems the change in weather can just change or tweak the texture of the pictures a little.
Yeah, it's crazy.
While I was reading the post I found out about the community, I liked it so much that I already subscribed, I love those pictures you took, I loved that tree in the first picture, I love it, good pictures.
Thanks for joining, and look forward to your posts!
