TURQUOISE!
I will tell you in advance, the colour photos on this post look better than the black & whites. Although, some may disagree. Tell me what you think? Obviously you cannot see the turquoise colour in the monochromes. In case you don’t know, the colour is created from glacial rock powder, which is absorbed in the water, and reflected via the sun back to our eyes (something like that anyways). These photos were taken on our hike to the “Valley of the five lakes”, Jasper National Park, Alberta. As I mentioned in Friday’s post, we did not make it too the other four lakes unfortunately, due to a logistical malfunction.

As you mentioned, the color photo appears better than the black and white version. I'm especially smitten with the turquoise color because my wife picked it for our wedding, and I've grown to adore it ever since. They are quite lovely, and you got a good shot there, @daveks. really good
Turquoise is one of my favourite colours. It just looks so bright and colourful. Appreciate the compliment.

I've said it before, there are pictures that would look better in itself ordinary form rather it being black and white. I think black and white has it's appeal, but in some cases all it does is to take away some details. I'm marveled by the range of that coverage. It's an astonishing shot if you ask me. The coverage, that lens must be doing a great job.
Indeed, the Huawei phone camera, sporting the Leica lens is truly unbelievable. Also the phone is 2 years old now as well.
Do you do some upgrades to the OS from time to time?
They push out an update every 4 or 5 months it seems.
Wow I have to say that color is outstanding! Reminds me of the water in the Caribbean. I just know there is some gold in there just waiting to be panned 😃
Gold? Ok, I’m heading back asap.
That turquoise liquid is beauty.
And a little more liquid in that rain & thunder from up over.
That turquoise water looks so amazing!
It was!
Turquoise is one of my favourite colours as well. And the last photo is excellent in both colour and black and white.
Thanks so much.
