the Edge
This is the “edge”where the glacial stream makes its way south, down the mountain side. Eventually emptying into Lake O’Hara below. The sound of the falls, the beauty of the scenery, the smell of pristine nature, the heat of the sun. It was perfect.

You seem to be talking about glacier here and from my geography glacier mean ice 🧊
Very frozen for sure. But generally the glacier is frozen year round, melts from about May to September or so.
