Fog or Cumulus Clouds

On a warm winter day, sometimes the fog lingers in the air, slowly to disappear as the day turns. I wonder what the correct term to use is, Fog or Cumulus clouds? One thing I do know for sure, it looks incredible! Which is your favourite pic?

I have to say I like the first one best. I like the way the soft cloud mixes with the texture of the pines. Damn that's a lot of snow! Brrrr..
