Finally, Lake Oesa!

This is it! We finally made it to the one and only Lake Oesa, Yoho Park, British Columbia. I must say, this ranks as the best hike I have ever done. This is it, #1. Now over the years, I have always wanted to journey up to this area, and even once tried to hop on the fully booked shuttle bus, but to no avail. This time it was more methodical. We booked and won the shuttle lottery (it was a two person effort).

I don't think I have ever seen a place that is so photogenic as this! We all know it is the photographer, but, coupled with a kick-butt landscape like this? Oh, yes! A winning combination!
Each tree is so individual, a standout! In a panoramic scene like this, I find that so unusual that each is a statement, all on its own. Most excellent photography.
