Engine Bridge

In order to cross the Bow river around this area, one must access the engine bridge. The bridge was actively used until the 1970’s for local coal mining. Now it acts as a walking/biking bridge only. Located beside Canmore, Alberta.

Beautiful views from the bridge. I often wonder if the miners appreciated the beauty of the remote places they worked.
