IAAC - Day 211 Spring is Around the Corner

avatar

Today is Saturday, February 12th and I am happy to be Alive.

Early this week, we were having a string of spring like days and flowers(weeds) were blooming in the yard. Due to this, I thought it would be good to plant some lettuce seeds which it states to put in soil after the threat of a freeze was past.

Well today a cold front came through and tonight the temperature will drop down to freezing but tomorrow it is supposed to be back up in the mid 60F. The seeds I planted take 7 to 10 days to sprout so that should be mid to late this coming week. I noticed lots of other plants starting to jump up out of the ground all around the yard as well. Nature knows better than I do so I will just wait and see what happens next.
