IAAC - Day 132 Velvet Leafed Senna blooming all around

Today is Monday, October 11th and I am happy to be alive.

The velvet leafed Senna is in full bloom in the fields around our house and in our back yard. I read that it is native to Northern Africa but I do not know how it got to the middle of Texas. The leaves are very soft to the touch and feel almost like velvet.

I love these flowers because they indicate that fall has finally arrived. The backyard is spotted with the yellow flowers which breaks up the green of the grass and the cactus.

Tonight the sunset did not have any clouds. The only cloud in the sky was way to the south along the horizon.
