IAAC - Day 108 Fall Soup prepared by Neighbor

avatar

Today is Friday, September 17th and I am happy to be alive.

It was a very hot day today. On the back porch it got up to 101F the good news is that the humidity was not very high so it only felt around 101F.

Our neighbor prepared this wonderful and tasty Fall soup with us. It is made with sweet potatoes, carrots, spinach, celery, mushrooms, onions, coconut cream and broth. She stated she was starting to get in the Fall mode and wanted to cook something for the start of the season which will begin next week. It was very nice of her to cook soup for us.

I looked up 101F and it's 38C, and wow that is hot, and also equal to the hottest I have ever experienced in Sweden in my lifetime, I hope you have a working AC and the soup looks tasty, enjoy your weekend and stay !ALIVE

We normally have at least 20 or more days a year at or above that temperature. This year we were lucky we only had eight days that hot. Yes in Texas most of the homes have A/C
