An Introductory post about myself

Hello everyone I am Udoh Darlington Nsikak. I'm a singer,song writer and an OND holder in mechanical engineering from Lagos state polytechnic. I am a Nigerian from Akwa Ibom state,ibesikpo asutan local government area . I'm from a family of seven and the forth son of the family.

I'm going to be briefing you on my musical career so far,coming from a Christian home my love from music originated from the church,it was the drums that got me first.I can still remember getting empty plastic of paint to create my own drum set, funny I was the son that do disturb the peace of the house with my loud drumming I got to write my first song in primary five,the inspiration came from an old primary joke and my elder brother as I watch him write his own songs.I did some songs in secondary school but I became better in music when I joined LG electronics,they had a lot of talents but music was on top of the chat. I did my freestyle with my other colleges and earn a good reputation for myself even as the sectional head.

My fall from music;

I was a big boy in LG,life going smooth and my walking on new goals till that day I can't forget the date the 16th of October 2013 it was sahla celebration and I got home to meet my big brother,Ekemine was his name and he was my favorite,a cool funny guy he loved to play football and we wanted to catch some fun,while playing the soccer that evening i played for his team as a good striker,while playing the ball I tried scoring against my opponent but missed and the ball got into a little river close to where we play football and since he was a good swimmer he dived into the water to get the ball, he never came out of that water I can still recall him calling for help as he went down into the water,he was about getting done with school to become a computer scientist that was the end of that dream,his death came with so much drama that my dad and mom could not take the business going bad and we had to get a new apartment,Iwas in shock with how things got bad in a very shot time i got ill and I had bills to pay i have to look for a way to support my family i had this crazy cough that affected me so bad that I lost my voice in such a way that when I pitch I cough out blood it took me five years to get good treatent cause i had face it alone,it was good buy to football and music for five years tho it was all i had to hold onto during my hard times I made lots of songs but I was not good enough,I got back to doing music in 2017 signed up for de Naija spirit talent hunt in 2020 tho i was unable to get a good audition video due to I had and accident during that period

How I got to know about hive

I was introduced to the hive by a friend @iyedrumz and his team helped me get on hive I see this as a second chance to build myself and shape my music skill more as I get ready to face the judges on the voice Nigeria where I can showcase my talent special thanks to @ksam @obaro @samostically @iyedrumz for your support.
