My Youth Is Attached With 2 Words Volunteer 🤗 - 6 Years A Journey ❤️❤️
Da Nang, November 26, 2021.
Today is a special day, not only for me but for all the members and volunteers of the One Dream Club. In particular, the club's 6th birthday is a milestone marking its growth after 6 years of establishment and development. On this special day, I would like to sit down and share with you my story about my 6-year journey with the One Dream Club.
My Youth 😎
My Youth 😎
Can any of us define what youth is 🤔?
Youth is the age that only eats - sleeps - learns? Or is it the age that only knows how to buy yourself beautiful and gorgeous dresses to attend parties with friends? Each person will have their own definition of the two words "YOUTH". But for me, I think that youth is the age of Health - Volunteer - Passion.
Yes! My youth is a journey cherished and nurtured from the cradle "CMUM" - Volunteer Club with One Dream.
If you ask me how much is youth worth? I will smile and tell you about the journey of thousands of miles that I have traveled with CMUM - And my youth is paid for by everyone's smiles and happiness.
It is often said that life is like a slow-motion movie, in which the most brilliant scene is probably the youthful years full of enthusiasm that later, even if we have everything, we can't buy it. For me, youth is when you look up at the night sky, you still remember your dream, I'm very happy because in my youth I met my brothers and sisters, friends of the club. And I always feel that I am very lucky when my youth is attached to the Volunteer Club of One Dream - where our youth can freely burn to their fullest. It gives me the opportunity to help those in need.
“6 YEARS A JOURNEY 🤝”
“6 YEARS A JOURNEY 🤝”
If someone asked me what it would be like to join this club and what would I lose, I would tell them that I am now, a completely different me. A girl who knows how to sympathize, who knows how to share, who knows how to forgive and who knows how to live a lot more than before. When I didn't know CMUM, my way to relieve stress was to eat, go out, play games with friends or sit in front of a laptop in a corner to watch movies. Later, after joining the club, after my school hours, I often read books to improve myself, participate in club programs such as "Song of hope" held monthly at mental hospital or participate in the cleaning of the Spiritual Area on weekends. And especially, I join with brothers and sisters, friends who go all the way throughout Da Nang city to sell items to raise funds for charity programs or roam the alleys on rainy nights to give small gifts to the poor on holidays. And I will always remember the meetings with other members with many stories, many lessons and encouragement shared from the "hearts" who were full of young life for each other.
Thanks to joining CMUM Club, I feel that this youth is beautiful and complete. For me, that is "more than enough" to feel this life has meaning, to let people go from strangers to become familiar and then to miss each other, to understand and accept each other's personalities, and to consider everyone else. in the club is a "family"".
This club has become my second family, helping me learn and realize many meaningful things in life. Through volunteering programs, I realized that under the lavish lights of this developing city, there are still many difficult situations and unfortunate lives. Dynamic and enthusiastic images of volunteers, the smile on the tanned face of the orphan boy, the innocent eyes of a disabled girl, the sad tears of unfortunate fates , the happiness of the old woman when she received a New Year's gift… All motivated me to do more things.
Wearing the volunteer blue shirt of CMUM is my pride and desire to strive to improve myself. It tells me that happiness is when we are able to help others without even trying to gain or lose. And it also tells me that we are not living for ourselves, but living for the less fortunate, living for the destinies that need our help.
Volunteer trips have ended but the long journey is still there. Not only in the difficult mountainous areas in Quang Nam, the footprints of CMUM youth still reach many other harsh and arduous lands. But each trip is an interesting experience, a long journey will leave each person with a valuable lesson, an experience that is always attached to the whole life journey ahead. The club made me realize that: We don't get back what we give, but get something much more valuable in return, which is compassion, understanding, sympathy and sharing. "FEED YOUR HEART FROM THE SMALLEST ACTIONS YOU CAN AND ALWAYS DIVINE FOR LIFE".
On the club's 6th birthday, thank you CMUM, thank you for a part of our youth and wish our CMUM will always maintain humane and meaningful activities, grow stronger, and bring joy and laughter for everyone as well as members of the club. I hope Da Nang ends the epidemic quickly so that the club can carry out many unfinished volunteer projects.
Thank you for listening to the thoughts and thoughts of a little girl with the enthusiasm of volunteering. Have a nice day and do a lot of good things to bring happiness to yourself and those around you.
