those words I've been yearning
I couldn't focus
My mind went mute
I was set adrift
I sank into the abyss without blinking
Your words came unexpectedly
A comet, a shooting star
A wish granted.
In mind palace of thoughts, I ask
Why?
Why now?
Your words preoccupied my world
With your succinctly salient smile
