Hive Goes to School in La Victoria, Aragua State, Venezuela

A very special day for Hive goes to School because, for the first time, we are going to a city in the interior of the country. This fills us with pride, as we see how this project expands to every corner of the country.

This time we were in two schools; one talk in each one. We noticed the difference in infrastructure, but the students were just as curious and motivated to learn.

I decided to start differently. Perhaps the trip to Spain and the conferences there had an influence, but I wanted to be more dramatic to capture the students' attention and I succeeded. I also put the gas pedal to the metal and spoke faster.

I included drama by talking about the future of technology and how they should be prepared, as they are sure to choose a career that will disappear before they graduate. All this because of artificial intelligence and how it is advancing so fast. That made them super attentive, because they didn't want to miss the tips I could give them, to save them in some profession.

Of course at the end I talked about several professions with a lot of demand in web3, although you never know when AI will replace them.

I liked this new approach, because they asked a lot of questions, especially from Hive. I saw some very awake guys and I'm glad about that. We will keep reporting XD.

Un día muy especial para Hive va a la Escuela y es porque, por primera vez vamos a una ciudad del interior del país. Esto nos llena de orgullo, ya que vemos como este proyecto se expande a todos los rincones del país.

En esta oportunidad estuvimos en dos colegios; una charla por cada uno. Notamos la diferencia en cuento a infraestructura, pero los estudiantes estaban igual de curiosos y motivados por aprender.

Decidí comenzar de forma distinta. Quizás el viaje a España y las conferencias de allá influyeron, pero quise ser más dramático para captar la atención de los alumnos y lo logré. También metí el acelerador y hablé más rápido.

El drama lo incluí hablando sobre el futuro de la tecnología y cómo deben estar preparados, ya que seguro eligen una carrera que desaparecerá antes que se gradúen. Todo esto debido a la inteligencia artificial y cómo está avanzando de rápido. Eso hizo que estuvieran súper atentos, porque no querían perderse los consejos que pudiera darles, para salvarlos en alguna profesión.

Por supuesto al final hablé sobre varias profesiones con mucha demanda en web3, aunque nunca se sabe cuándo la IA las vaya a remplazar.

Me gustó este nuevo enfoque, porque hicieron muchas preguntas, sobre todo de Hive. Vi unos chicos muy despiertos y eso me alegra. Seguiremos informando XD.
