Feria CRIABÚFALOS Caracas 2023 - Increíble [ENG-ESP]

Saturday was an amazing day and that's why I'm taking the time to create this content outside of my niche. The way it ended I didn't imagine it, I even prejudged before actually experiencing it.

I started the day running in Parque del Este, which I will tell you about tomorrow because it was the first Hive Run training. Thanks to that run we were able to see that there was a buffalo fair, which would be open until midnight.

Since my sister is visiting Caracas, I thought it was a perfect plan to go so she could get to know Parque Bolivar, which is accessed from Parque del Este. It also caught my attention to be able to be in this park at night.

Another thing that made me decide to go at night to this fair, is that when we ran past in the morning I saw many food stalls, with very cheap prices for delicious grills. From $5 for a mixed grill.

That's how we told my sister about this change of plan, which consisted of adding this activity, because we were going to go out for cocadas and show her a little of how Caracas had changed in the last eight years.

After the tour we went to Parque del Este to park and we saw a huge queue. At that moment I thought we might not be able to get in. We are not used to long lines and even less for an event that we did not have so much information about what we could enjoy.

We headed to the other parking lot that is a little further away, thinking that it would be closed or with a queue of similar size. The surprise is that there was no line in that parking lot and we got in quickly. One thing that did hurt a bit was paying $4 to park, even though the fair was free. It is the most expensive parking I have ever paid in Caracas.

We walked to the other park where the fair was and it was very nice, the cool night, in a park where it is always daytime.

Arriving there we started to hear music and I imagined, a lot of noise, a crowd and bochinche; all a combination that I abhor. However, I was very wrong. The atmosphere was familiar and quiet, with much less people than I imagined.

We ate parrilla and it was divine. The night was spectacular. I took pictures with different ISO and speeds, testing the PRO option of my Samsung A53.

At the end we met the buffaloes and I never imagined they were so gentle. They come up to you to be petted. Plus they have a look that melts even an ice like me 😁.

There was also an auction and we watched as they bought one for $3500 and we joked that we could get a whale for Hive.

It was a lot of emotions experienced on that ride and we ended with walking back, going all the way through East Park where no one was around. This was at 10:30 at night and the sounds of birds and insects in the middle of the city was spectacular.

El sábado fue un día increíble y es por eso que me tomo el tiempo de crear este contenido fuera de mi nicho. La forma como finalizó no me la imaginé, incluso prejuzgue antes de realmente vivirlo.

Inicié el día corriendo en el Parque del Este, que ya se los contaré mañana porque fue el primer entrenamiento de Hive Run. Gracias a ese recorrido pudimos ver que había una feria de búfalos, que estaría abierta hasta las doce de la noche.

Como mi hermana está de visita en Caracas, me pareció un plan perfecto para ir y que así conozca el Parque Bolívar, al cual se accede desde el Parque del Este. También me llamó la atención el poder estar en este parque en la noche.

Otra de las cosas que hizo que decidiera ir en la noche a esta feria, es que cuando pasamos corriendo en la mañana vi muchos puestos de comida, con precios muy económicos para exquisitas parrillas. Desde $5 por una parrilla mixta.

Es así como le dijimos a mi hermana ese cambio de plan, que consistió en añadir esa actividad, porque ya íbamos a salir a tomar cocadas y mostrarle un poco lo que había cambiado Caracas en los últimos ocho años.

Después del paseo fuimos a Parque del Este para estacionar y vimos una cola inmensa. En ese momento pensé que quizás no podríamos entrar. No somos de hacer largas colas y menos para un evento del que no teníamos tanta información sobre lo que podríamos disfrutar.

Nos dirigimos al otro estacionamiento que se encuentra un poco más retirado, pensando que estaría cerrado o con una cola de similar tamaño. La sorpresa es que no había cola en ese estacionamiento y entramos con rapidez. Algo que si me dolió un poco, fue pagar $4 para estacionar, aunque la feria era gratuita. Es el estacionamiento más caro que he pagado en Caracas.

Caminamos hacia el otro parque donde se encontraba la feria y fue muy rico, la noche fresca, en un parque donde siempre se está de día.

Llegando comenzamos a escuchar una música y me imaginé, mucho ruido, un gentío y bochinche; toda una combinación que aborrezco. Sin embargo estaba muy equivocado. El ambiente familiar y tranquilo, con muchas menos personas que lo que imaginé.

Comimos parrilla y estaba divina. La noche espectacular. Tomé fotos con distintas ISO y velocidades, probando la opción PRO de mi Samsung A53

Al final conocimos a los búfalos y nunca imaginé que eran tan tiernos. Se te acercan para que los acaricies. Además que tienen una mirada que derrite hasta un hielo como yo 😁

También había una subasta y vimos cómo compraron uno en $3500 y bromeamos diciendo que podíamos conseguir una ballena para Hive.

Fueron muchas emociones vividas en ese paseo y terminamos con la de caminar de regreso, atravesando todo el Parque del Este por donde no había nadie. Esto fue a las 10:30 de la noche y los sonidos de las aves e insectos en medio de la ciudad, fue espectacular.
