El tiempo es algo que no podemos detener aunque quisiéramos y cuando ya te encuentras cumpliendo por encima de los cincuenta pueden llegar ciertas preocupaciones que no tienes ni idea que vendrán a de cierta manera, perturbar tu tranquilidad. En mi caso puedo asegurar que mi gran preocupación ahorita en este tiempo de mi vida, es si de verdad he ido por buen camino o si no he perdido mi tiempo con la vida que he escogido vivir, porque de eso si estoy seguro, he vivido la vida que he decidido vivir, y he creído siempre en cada cosa que hago.

Time is something that we cannot stop even if we wanted to and when you are already fulfilling over fifty, certain concerns can come that you have no idea that they will come to in a certain way, disturb your tranquility. In my case I can assure you that my great concern right now in this time of my life is if I have really been on the right track or if I have not wasted my time with the life that I have chosen to live, because of that I am sure, I have lived the life that I have decided to live, and I have always believed in everything I do.

Soy músico porque decidí dedicarme a ello desde muy joven, quizás no he llegado dónde imaginé cuando comencé con la guitarra a los 14 años, pero siento que he sido muy feliz con cada momento vivido a través de la música ya que me dediqué a enseñar música mientras aprendía a tocar guitarra, piano o canto. Esos aprendizajes los fui buscando progresivamente después de los 17 años y mucha gente me busca para aprender a tocar un instrumento o para aprender a cantar, eso me hace muy feliz.

I am a musician because I decided to dedicate myself to it from a very young age, perhaps I have not reached where I imagined when I started with the guitar at 14 years old, but I feel that I have been very happy with every moment lived through music since I dedicated myself to teaching music while learning to play guitar, piano or singing. I was progressively looking for those learnings after I was 17 years old and many people seek me out to learn to play an instrument or to learn to sing, that makes me very happy.

Para mi fue increíble esta celebración en familia porque por causa de la covid-19 en estos tiempos es muy difícil salir de casa y mucho menos recibir en casa a familiares y amigos para alguna celebración, y en este caso que concierne a mi cumpleaños mucho más, ya que en casa todos teníamos el virus y teníamos que quedarnos en casa, y era imposible reunirnos. Pero ocurrió algo que me hizo mucho más feliz en este día. A mi hija de 10 años se le ocurrió reunir a algunos familiares a través de un video que ella misma editó para sorprenderme. Allí logró reunir a mis dos hijos que están desde hace dos años en Chile, un gran país amigo de Venezuela, y a mi mamá, mi hermano David y Elinor, que tenía más de 15 días sin verlos por culpa de la enfermedad, allí recibí un bello mensaje de Carol mi cuñada, mis dos pequeños nenes, mi suegra Soraya y de mi bella esposa. Les confieso que no pude contener mis lágrimas cuando escuché a mis hijos viajeros Víctor y Gustavo porque los extraño mucho.

For me, this family celebration was incredible because because of the covid-19 in these times it is very difficult to leave the house, much less receive family and friends at home for a celebration, and in this case, it concerns my birthday much more , since at home we all had the virus and we had to stay at home, and it was impossible to meet. But something happened that made me so much happier on this day. It occurred to my 10-year-old daughter to gather some family members through a video that she edited to surprise me. There he managed to reunite my two children who have been in Chile for two years, a great country that is a friend of Venezuela, and my mother, my brother David and Elinor, who had not seen them for more than 15 days because of the illness, there I received a beautiful message from Carol my sister-in-law, my two little babies, my mother-in-law Soraya and my beautiful wife. I confess that I could not contain my tears when I listened to my traveling children Víctor and Gustavo because I miss them so much.

En verdad fue una reunión en casa muy sencilla, ya que mis hijos y mi esposa se dedicaron a preparar la torta que ven en las imágenes, y yo les preparé a los niños unos perros calientes, nos tomamos una limonada y cantamos el cumpleaños a eso de las 7:00 pm. Creo que la felicidad modestamente la podemos encontrar en cada momento que logramos en familia.

It was really a very simple home meeting, since my children and my wife dedicated themselves to preparing the cake that you see in the images, and I prepared some hot dogs for the children, we had a lemonade and we sang the birthday to that from 7:00 pm. I believe that happiness can be modestly found in every moment that we achieve as a family.
