Este post está escrito en dos idiomas y dividido para facilitar la lectura.
Falta poco, muy poco para que acabe éste mes de Noviembre y en sí, el año.
Éste 2021 ha significado para mí un tiempo de movimiento constante. Tengo esa sensación de que han pasado demasiadas cosas en un sólo año y que los cambios no han parado.
En un post anterior les comenté que me iba a mudar sola por primera vez en mi vida.
Principalmente por la necesidad de encontrar mi individualidad y mi propio espacio. Pero éste espacio necesitaba mucho cariño antes de que pudiese habitarlo y yo, me he dedicado de lleno a ofrecerle ese cariño.
Les voy a ir mostrando los avances de éste remodelación porque me emociona muchísimo compartirlo con vosotros.
It will be a short, very short time until the end of this month of November and the year itself.
This 2021 has meant for me a time of constant movement. I have that feeling that too many things have happened in just one year and that the changes have not stopped.
In a previous post I told you that I was going to move on my own for the first time in my life.
Mainly because of the need to find my individuality and my own space. But this space needed a lot of love before I could inhabit it and I have been fully dedicated to offer that love.
I will be showing you the progress of this remodeling because I am very excited to share it with you.
Lo primero sin duda fue hacer algunas compras. Tuve que realizar una lista de todas las cosas que iban a hacer falta, para no comprar de más ni tampoco, de menos.
Lo cierto es que el lugar estaba bastante maltratado.
El baño fue la primera tarea de todas, limpiarlo por completo me tomó 2 días. Una de las áreas más delicadas a la hora de mudarse a un lugar que ya fue habitado es precisamente el baño. La desinfección y limpieza debe hacerse muy bien.
Y aunque fue quizás el peor trabajo de todos, me sentí feliz cuando estuvo terminado.
The first thing I had to do was to do some shopping. I had to make a list of all the things I was going to need, so as not to buy too much or too little.
The truth is that the place was in pretty bad shape.
The bathroom was the first task of all, cleaning it completely took me 2 days. One of the most delicate areas when moving into a place that has already been inhabited is precisely the bathroom. Disinfection and cleaning must be done very well.
And although it was perhaps the worst job of all, I was happy when it was finished.
Los colores que elegí para todo el lugar en sí fueron blanco, dorado y negro.
Primordialmente porque la casa es pequeña y no tiene mucha luz natural. Por tanto, la paredes blancas van a servir mucho para que se vea más amplio.
En la habitación hay una pared de ladrillos (que estaba bastante maltratada); así que decidí pintarla también de blanco. La habitación es lo más pequeño, medirá como mucho 7m2.
The colors I chose for the whole place itself were white, gold and black.
Primarily because the house is small and doesn't have a lot of natural light. Therefore, the white walls are going to serve a lot to make it look more spacious.
In the room there is a brick wall (which was pretty battered); so I decided to paint it white as well. The room is the smallest thing, it will measure at most 7m2.
El piso de la habitación también estaba increíblemente maltratado. Era de madera, pero estaba manchado, roto y muy agrietado. Además de que era muy oscuro y hacía ver el lugar mucho más pequeño de lo que era.
Así que me encargué durante casi una semana de buscar un piso de vinilo que tuviese aspecto de madera y fuese más claro. Llevé muchas decepciones, hasta que lo conseguí y quedé enamorada.
En la habitación también coloqué repisas.
AThe floor in the room was also incredibly battered. It was wood, but it was stained, broken and badly cracked. Plus it was very dark and made the place look much smaller than it was.
So I took it upon myself for almost a week to find a vinyl floor that looked like wood and was lighter. I was very disappointed, until I got it and fell in love.
I also put shelves in the room.
La pintura del lugar está terminada. El área del ropero será de color negro, el resto de la sala y futura cocina será completamente blanco.
Para el baño compré un mueble organizador y lo último que queda por pintar son las puertas y los marcos del lugar.
El siguiente paso será construir la cocina (que será de madera) y mudarme.
Los cambios son positivos y, el lugar ya comienza a convertirse en un hogar repleto de armonía y orden. Estoy emocionada por ver el resultado final, aunque sigo disfrutando el proceso.
The painting of the place is finished. The closet area will be black, the rest of the living room and future kitchen will be completely white.
For the bathroom I bought an organizer cabinet and the last thing left to paint are the doors and the frames of the place.
The next step will be to build the kitchen (which will be made of wood) and move in.
The changes are positive and the place is already starting to become a home full of harmony and order. I am excited to see the final result, although I am still enjoying the process.
