To Catch Up WIth AI ? These are my Top 5 Movies To Watch

We are in the era of artificial intelligence. But I remember that when we were very young there are so many AI and robotic movies that we watched for fun back then. What is making me to even pen down all these thoughts together right now is that there are some things that we took for granted and we thought is a joke or just an ordinary futuristic drama that we are watching.

Many of the things that they did in many of those movies are right here in front of every one of us. So it is high time we humans start thinking twice about what we should do and what we should not do. Also, I have taken it upon myself to go and watch so many robotic and artificial intelligence movies of time past and these are the five suggested movies that I think you should watch and is surely going to help you understand how things are going.

The number one is iRobot. This movie was starring Will Smith and is one of the most entertaining robotic movies of its time back then. It was telling us about how dangerous it is for us to rely on AI and our robots and if the person who is creating the robot or the machine is not of a good intention, the robots too can become bad.

So that was what iRobot was actually like and the reality that artificial intelligence can feel, have emotions, that means they can fall in love, have the fear of death and stuff like that. That means that we are no more having robots. We are now having another human being with us.

Then the number two is Terminator. Terminator is one of the most popular alien slash robotic slash artificial intelligence that you can ever think about. The story introduces Skynet, an artificial intelligence system that becomes hostile towards humanity and is sending futuristic killing machines to eliminate whoever is going to come in the future to eliminate it.

The entire Terminator franchise is based on this theme and story line. Then we have Mission Impossible - Dead Man Reckoning Part Two. In this movie, Tom Cruise was trying to beat a machine and they are doing everything they could to make sure they come out of his algorithm and his calculations of which Tom Cruise actually won at the end of the day.

Then the fourth one is The Matrix. The Matrix with the Wachowski brother was a masterpiece on his own and it's talking about a bigger vision of machine intelligence that far exceeds beyond our control and humans are living inside a simulated reality while the intelligence machines are the ones that are using their body as a source of energy. Then the last one is AI, artificial intelligence, made by Steven Spielberg in 2001.

This is an emotional part of artificial intelligence and it tells a lot of story. So instead of asking only whether robots can become dangerous, the movie is asking another different question. If robots are capable of having wanting feelings and emotional attachments, what is the end of it for humans? Though it's only iRobot that I have watched of recent this week, so I will take my time to watch the remaining five movies and I'm sure I will get to a decision that I'm going to like them.
