¡Saludos amigos de Hive! nuevamente les traigo música en flauta dulce contralto, para ésta ocasión les traje un villancico a petición de @popurri que hizo en una publicación de Twitter pidiendo la canción "El tamborilero", al principio lo veía algo complejo pero conseguí una partitura que encajó a la perfección y he aquí les traigo el resultado, se oye bastante grabe ya que la flauta contralto tiene un sonido más "cálido" por así decirlo pero aún así se oye hermoso, espero les guste...

Again I bring you music on the alto recorder, for this occasion I brought you a Christmas carol at the request of @popurri that he did in a Twitter post asking for the song "The drummer", at first I saw it somewhat complex but I got a score that fit the perfection and here I bring you the result, it sounds quite recorded since the alto flute has a more "warm" sound so to speak but it still sounds beautiful, I hope you like it ...

' El tamborilero ', 'El pequeño tamborilero' o 'El niño del tambor' es un clásico villancico popular que narra la historia de un niño que se gana la vida tocando el tambor. Según la letra, el joven protagonista de la canción navideña acude a visitar al Mesías en Nochebuena, y, no teniendo ningún regalo para él, decide tocarle una canción con su tambor como prueba de amor. El final del villancico explica como el hijo de María le sonríe, contento con el presente musical y satisfecho de el tamborilero. La historia es conocida por todos, pero ¿cuál es el origen de 'El tamborilero'?

La versión oficial más antigua del origen de 'El tamborilero' se remonta a 1941, cuando, en Missouri, Estados Unidos, la pianista Katherine Kennicott Davis transcribe un antiguo manuscrito checo, adaptándolo libremente al inglés. Firmando bajo el pseudónimo de C. R. W. Robertson, la pianista titula a la canción 'Carol of the Drum' ('Villancico del tambor').

Sin embargo, existen diferentes versiones sobre la procedencia del tema argumental de la canción, ya que varias informaciones consideran que es una adaptación de una ópera de Jules Massenet, quien escribió la letra, supuestamente, en 1902.

'The drummer', 'The little drummer' or 'The boy with the drum' is a classic popular Christmas carol that tells the story of a boy who makes a living playing the drum. According to the lyrics, the young protagonist of the Christmas song goes to visit the Messiah on Christmas Eve, and, having no gift for him, decides to play a song with his drum as proof of love. The end of the Christmas carol explains how María's son smiles at him, happy with the musical present and satisfied with the drummer. The story is known to all, but what is the origin of 'The Drummer'?

The oldest official version of the origin of 'The Drummer' dates back to 1941, when, in Missouri, United States, the pianist Katherine Kennicott Davis transcribed an old Czech manuscript, freely adapting it to English. Signing under the pseudonym C. R. W. Robertson, the pianist titles the song 'Carol of the Drum'.
