THE MAGICIAN OF DARK SORROW

Good night everyone, I hope it's a night full of good ideas for artwork and posts in my sketchbook. I'm wrapping up my day with an illustration I really liked—the idea, the process, and the result. I combined two very different universes: on one hand, the Yu-Gi-Oh! card game universe, using the Dark Magician, and on the other, the dark and twisted world of the Blasphemous video game. This gave the Duel Monsters character a penitent touch, and I'm really pleased with the result. Also, with this post, I'll be starting a new format for how I'll showcase my artwork on Hive.

Materials used:

• Pencil, marker, colored pencils

• For a cleaner, white background, use Photoshop

Time taken:

40 minutes for the traditional part plus a couple of extra minutes while I retouched it in Photoshop.
