Me complace enormemente desearles un feliz año 2026 y continuar participando en esta iniciativa que se ha vuelto tan importante para mí, es.por esto que me alegra unirme al Concurso. Observa Piensa Escribe.. En esta oportunidad les vengo a contar de una visita al llano, cuando vi la imagen que nos obsequió nuestro apreciado amigo @lanzjoseg, se me vino a la mente un viaje que hice a Pariaguán, por los lados del estado Anzoátegui, donde la mayoría de sus medios de producción es la ganadería y muchas de esas haciendas, son así con cercados, tranqueras, ganado pastando por la orilla del camino. Resulta que me fui con unos amigos, en un camión 350, pero como todos no cabíamos en la cabina, muchos nos fuimos en la batea dem camión, cubiertos por una lona, en la carretera nos llovió y la lona tenía huecos y se colaba el agua, así que cuando llegamos a Pariaguán, llegamos, mojados por la lluvia. Y la hacienda a la que íbamos no era allí, teníamos que todavía agarrar más carretera, porque quedaba en en Santa Clara, de camino a San Diego de Cabrutica, es lejos. Era una Hacienda grande y había bastante ganado vacuno, en la casa de la Hacienda, se hacía queso, producto de lo que se ordeñaba en la mañana, el queso fresco, es buenísimo -¡qué cosa tan sabrosa! Y podíamos comer todo lo que nos diera la gana, para bañarnos teníamos que caminar hasta donde estaba un aljibe, que es un pozo subterráneo, del que sacábamos agua con un cacharro, así que bañamos las mujeres y los niños, gozamos un montón, sacando agua pujando con aquel balde, hasta que por fin todo el mundo quedó limpiecito, para después caminar hasta la casa de la Hacienda, estando allí preparamos almuerzo, como los peones habían matado una res, había carne para asar y para hacer sopa, optamosnpor asar carne en las brasas y hacer bollos de harina. Todo quedó sabroso. Después de almuerzo sacamoynas cartas y nos pusimos a jugar ajiley, disfrutamos de toda la tarde jugando, hasta que entró la noche y nos dispusimos a hacer la cena, que consistió en pan y queso, con una taza de café. Y seguimos jugando un rato más y después nos fuimos a acostar en unos chinchorros colgados en el único cuarto de la casa. A mañana siguiente nos levantamos tempranito para participar en el ordeño, una experiencia nueva y emocionante, teniendo mucho cuidado con los niños porque hubo un incidente donde mi hijo se le atravesó al toro de la manada, gracias a Dios no pasó a mayores, pero fue un susto... el susto. Después de desayunar, nos fuimos a pasear, de visita a donde otras personas, de otra Hacienda vecina y pasamos el día conversando allí con ellos, donde nos dieron de almorzar, una gente bien agradable y bien receptiva, muy humildes, pero gente muy buena.

On this occasion, I'm here to tell you about a visit to the plains, when I saw the image that our dear friend @lanzjoseg shared with us, it reminded me of a trip I took to Pariaguán, near the state of Anzoátegui, where most of the means of production is livestock, and many of those farms are like that, with fences, gates, and cattle grazing along the side of the road. It turns out that I went with some friends in a 350 truck, but since we couldn't all fit in the cab, many of us rode in the back of the truck, covered by a tarp. It rained on the highway, and the tarp had holes in it, so water leaked in. When we arrived in Pariaguán, we were soaked from the rain. And the ranch we were going to wasn't there; we still had to drive further, because it was in Santa Clara, on the way to San Diego de Cabrutica, which is far away. It was a large ranch and there was a lot of cattle. In the ranch house, they made cheese from the milk they milked in the morning. The fresh cheese is delicious—what a tasty treat! And we could eat as much as we wanted. To bathe, we had to walk to a cistern, which is an underground well, from which we drew water with a bucket, so the women and children bathed. We had a great time pulling up water with that bucket, until finally everyone was clean, and then we walked to the hacienda house, where we prepared lunch. Since the farmhands had slaughtered a cow, there was meat to roast and make soup, so we decided to roast meat on the coals and make flour buns. Everything was delicious. After lunch, we took out our cards and started playing ajiley. We enjoyed playing all afternoon until night fell and we got ready to make dinner, which consisted of bread and cheese with a cup of coffee. We continued playing for a while longer and then went to bed in hammocks hanging in the only room in the house. The next morning, we got up early to help with the milking, a new and exciting experience. We had to be very careful with the children because there was an incident where my son got in the way of the bull in the herd. Thank God nothing serious happened, but it was a scare... quite a scareAfter breakfast, we went for a walk, visiting other people at a neighboring hacienda, and spent the day chatting with them. They gave us lunch. They were very nice and welcoming people, very humble, but very good people.
