On this day I will discuss about guava flowers as I will show in some of the pictures below.
This is a guava plant that I grow at home with potted planting media, I don't plant this guava directly on the ground, but in a pot or even with a polybag.

When the condition of the guava flower is like this, it will usually invite a lot of pests and diseases.

Some pests on guava flowers are:

1.Elephant butterfly caterpillar
The way to deal with this caterpillar is to collect all the eggs attached to the leaves, then throw them away or you can destroy them by burning the leaves after you pull them out.

2. Bats
Bats are one of the pests on guava fruit, bats are usually active at night, you can overcome this by wrapping the guava fruit, or even installing a net around the guava tree which can prevent bats from eating the guava fruit.

3.Plant parasite
Maybe we all know from the nature of the parasite whose nature can damage other plants and also cause slow death.
The fix is that you can separate or cut the parasite without hurting the guava tree.

4. Fruit flies
As in the case above, fruit flies often attach their eggs to guava leaves and the result is rotting of the guava fruit.
The solution is to spray an insecticide that can repel or kill the fly.
