SpongeBob SquarePants Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated first impressions on PS5
This is yet another game that I just got for free with April 2022's free PS Plus games. I was a pretty big fan of SpongeBob when I was younger, but that was a very long time ago and I'm not so sure I will play a ton of this game. Even though I wasn't dying to start playing it, I figured I would at least give it a try since the reviews for it are pretty good.
This is the 2020 remaster aka a Rehydrated version of a game that was originally released back in 2003. I am not positive, but I am pretty certain that I played a little bit of this game way back then. It is crazy that a game that is nearly 20 years old is still playable today.
Speaking of being still playable, this isn't some half-assed SpongeBob game. It is fully voiced and feels like you are watching the show, except you actually get to interact with the world of Bikini Bottom.
Let's take a look at how this game plays and I may be showing off some of this one in another video in the future. No promises on that though.

Yesterday while I was buying some games from G2A I saw this game on 70% discount and also plants vs zombies for 99% discount.
I didn't thought SpongeBob will have this much graphics.
Plants vs Zombies is a pretty fun multiplayer game actually.
SpongeBob is cool if you're looking to relive your childhood. I probably won't play much of it though.
What's your opinion about anthem ?

I've never played Anthem, but I've researched it a lot. The worker at Gamestop told me a few months ago that he loves it. Since it is on a deep sale right now, that would be a good time to get it. It just seems too repetitive to me and at this point, it is older than all of the new games I've been playing so I have no interest to try it now. It does look kind of fun to fly around and be powerful though.
I saw the anthem E3 trailer vs retail gameplay on youtube and that killed my expectations of this game. But still, I think for 560rs this game is worth it to give a try.

fun looking game. Squidword's house looks so cool, I almost bought it for my fish tank before, but was not willing to pay the $15 for it.. :P
The old graphics do look like a dried-up sponge compared to today's standards.
