Just look at that smile 💚💚💚

When the freezing cold winter weather arrives here in the mountains of Appalachia, photography becomes a lot less common for me and my girlfriend @flowerbaby. We would much rather stay inside where it is warm, rather than go outside and deal with the blisteringly cold wind and unfair low temperatures. Neither one of us particularly loves the winter, but we do at least get some enjoyment out of the peacefulness of occasional snow. I just don't think it is acceptable for it to be cold and not be snowing.

The other day we finally had a day above freezing temperatures, it wasn't so bad. It still was nowhere near as enjoyable as our summer weather, but at least I didn't dread being outside. We were about to walk inside from being out and about when @flowerbaby asked me to take some new photos of her on the rooftop of the garage. We hadn't done this since she got her hair cut short about a month ago, so there is no way I was about to say no to this opportunity.

We took the elevator to the top and found a fairly empty room for us to play around with. We did some poses overlooking our small city, posted up on the staircase, in the elevator, and this one shot with us both of my reflection in the glass and her on the other side of it.

There are several really amazing photographs in today's mini-gallery. The main reason these turned out so well is my gorgeous girl and her powerful smile. It is clear to see that she was very happy to finally be the focus of some more photos. I love the cozy green sweater that she was wearing too.
