Everyone meet at Legend Valley

21 of my favorite EDM producers will be gathering nearby in Ohio this July. I absolutely cannot wait to join everyone and introduce @flowerbaby to her first ever experience with a live EDM event. Reunion is a two-day special event. A celebration to bring our Bass Family back together once again.

There will be 9 hours of bass music each day (Fri/Sat). No overnight camping at this event, but it will be held at the same location as Lost Lands (Legend Valley, OH) on July 16th-17th, 2021. General admission and VIP tickets are available now, with options for just one or both days.

All information about Reunion can be found on https://excision.ca/reunion/

It's been too long

I haven't been to see live music since January 25, 2020. To put things into perspective, the last time that I went to a rave, Hive wasn't even created yet. It is crazy to think that I have been living life for over a year without being able to do one of my favorite things in the world. It is one thing to listen to music in the comfort of my home, in the car, or through some headphones. Music is taken to a whole other level of enjoyment when you add in a giant crowd of people who share the same love for EDM. The energy is unlike anything else, a group of individuals who all have the same goal of dancing time away. Each artist performs in their own way, so no set is ever really the same. You haven't felt the true powers of bass until you have went to a show hosted by Excision. Reunion is quite possibly the best event to start my EDM lifestyle back up with. I imagine that so many people will be just like me, by that I mean absolutely dying to experience what we have been missing for far too long.

One thing has stuck with me since February 2020, the fact that I had to bail on the last EDM event that I was supposed to go to. I had a ticket to DMVU and TVBOO's Eat My Sass Tour in Columbus. I unfortunately became deathly ill a few days before I was supposed to go. Luckily the ticket was only $20, so I just gave it away to someone I knew that lives in Columbus. It's crazy to think that I had no idea that would be my last opportunity to go and enjoy a show for well over a year. Finally the draught is about to end thanks to Reunion.

Dinosaurs are back

If you don't know who Excision is, then you probably don't even like EDM. He started Subsidia Records recently and has been popular in the EDM scene at least 2011. He also is the creator of Lost Lands, which I mentioned earlier. This is one of the most highly anticipated festivals in the USA since it first became a yearly hing back in 2017. Unfortunately 2020's festival was canceled. It only makes sense to make up for lost time by creating Reunion. Both of these events are themed around dinosaurs. One can expect to see life-size dinos scattered all across Legend Valley, which is just outside of Columbus, Ohio.

If you are brand new to going to shows like this, I would highly reccomemd you check out my rave starter kit which explains 15 essentials to going hard.

What a lineup

If you are like me and know what you are looking at, this list of names is absolutely stacked. Out of the 21 artists selected to perform at Reunion, I have seen 10 of them live previously:

  • Wooli
  • Atliens
  • Dion Timmer
  • Dirt Monkey
  • Excision
  • He$h
  • Kai Wachi
  • Kompany
  • Lucii
  • Svdden Death

This is Kompany and I in the crowd at Bourbon Hall (Louisville, KY) back on March 16th, 2019. I was wearing masks before they were mandatory, now I never want to wear one again.

All of which were freaking amazing. I have being dying to see them again and especially look forward to some of the producers that I haven't been able to go see in the past. There is no word yet on who will be performing Friday or Saturday, but one thing for certain is that both days will be filled with 9 hours of absolute carnage in the form of electronic bass vibes.

A bit pricey, but worth it

I decided to buy two tickets for only Saturday’s festivities. I will miss out on the first day of Reunion, but that's okay with me. I know that 9 hours will be plenty of time to get what I have been missing. It also saved me a lot of money going just one day. We will be able to drive straight home afterwards instead of wasting money on accommodations. Plus I know I am going to be extremely sore after just one day, since this will be my first show in such a long time.

This playlist smacks

Now it's time to build up energy until Reunion finally happens in July. I have compiled a list of 22 hard hitting tracks for us to enjoy. This playlist features every single artist that will be at Reunion, in fact it only features artists that will be at Reunion. I know I will be listening to this playlist quite a bit before this event happens, I encourage you to do the same.

Thanks for checking out my blog 😎🤝

Words cannot express how hyped I am for Reunion. I was so happy when I saw the tickets go on sale, it totally came out of nowhere for me. I instantly purchased tickets and am thrilled to finally be able to take my girlfriend @flowerbaby to one of my favorite things in the entire world. I hope she loves it as much as I do.

Thats awesome. Exision is going to be here in a couple months too and I have been debating on getting tickets. They have so many awesome songs.

I’m telling you bro, definitely go. His tickets are a bit more than most artists, but his shows are just better so it’s worth it. They always have soooo many laser lights and the bass is the loudest of any shows I’ve been too. He usually has some giant custom built stage. Excision is worth checking out for sure, such a legend.

I can imagine EDM shows being wild. I don't really like listening to it but I can imagine it being something else when you're in a venue and the bass is thumping out of the PA. You'll be listening to that music with your whole body.

The bass is the loudest and most vibratory thing I have felt in my life so far. It gets pretty crazy thats for sure. The DJs have the ability to initiate an immediate mosh pit just by playing certain songs. It's guaranteed to happen.
