Here is a throwback from our last trip in the winter, this was taken in Jasper National park. A picture of the iconic Pyramid Mountain from the Maligne Lake Road, a beautiful drive that takes you up another mountain to the famous Maligne Lake , we had a guided ice hike in the canyon planned for the afternoon and we were a bit early, what better way to kill some time with this wonderful view and wildlife watching.

One of many impressive landmarks found in Chichen Itza, a large pre-Columbian city built by the Maya people of the Terminal Classic period. This unique archaeological site is located in the Tinum Municipality, Yucatan State, Mexico.

I am not sure if everyone would know that it is Delicate Arch on the photo, as usually you are seeing it from the other angle. As we came early enough to the viewpoint to explore a bit before sunset, I did few additional clicks and kind of like that one, so I am sharing it with you today.

A classic sunrise at Moraine Lake. I took this photo on my only visit to Banff National Park. My friends and I were lucky to have a beautiful sunrise. It is one of the prettiest places I've seen. National Parks occasionally get a bad rap because of the number of tourists at each location. This morning was no different. There were hundreds of people taking photos and pointing their tripods in the same direction. From what I could tell though, everyone was being respectful and allowing others to enjoy the experience.

I love Moraine Lake, so beautiful! Our National Parks are busy but it is what it is, I mostly go off-season it's nice and quiet.

Pinkerton Hot Springs

The hot springs is located when you travel from Durango to Silverton mountains on million dollar highway. This is a small hot spring which looks so beautiful. Very easily accessible as its located exactly by road. The mountains were covered with snow, but the spring water was hot.

This was taken a few days ago by Turner Valley, Alberta. We went to visit a friend, Turner Valley is a quaint little town that rests at the foothills of the Kananaskis Country Rockies. The area is covered in farm land and cow fields all over the foothills all the way to the mountains. It's common to drive around the area and encounter herds of free range Angus cows lining the ditch grazing.

When I was in New York, I took the ferry which allows me to admire the city from another angle. The buildings are still as imposing when seen from afar, but they sway well.
