Jesus is the image of God, the invisible God who made himself known through Jesus. He is the firstborn of all creation. For by him all things were created, that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible; be thrones, be dominions, be principalities, be powers; everything was created through him and for him.*
And that Word was made flesh, and he dwelt among us (and we saw his glory, his glory as of the only begotten of the Father), full of grace and truth.

But now Christ is risen from the dead; firstfruits of them that have fallen asleep is done.
1 Corinthians 15:20

Jesús es la imagen de Dios, Dios invisible quien se dió a conocer por medio de Jesus. Es el primogénito de toda creación. Porque en él fueron creadas todas las cosas, las que hay en los cielos y las que hay en la tierra, visibles e invisibles; sean tronos, sean dominios, sean principados, sean potestades; todo fue creado por medio de él y para él.*
Y aquel Verbo fue hecho carne, y habitó entre nosotros (y vimos su gloria, gloria como del unigénito del Padre), lleno de gracia y de verdad.
