The fact is that @themarkymark is a toxic user, He is a troll that is basically bending the rules and exploiting monetary control on the steem network. He has succeeded in showing any legit businesses that may want to conduct business on Steem that such a thing is simply not possible until there is a way to block or ban this type of toxic user from downvoting. He hides behind the fact that he downvotes with the lowest possible amount, but that lowest amount is still equal to about a 5000SP full power downvote. so saying he is not censoring is 100% BS! a downvote of even the smallest degree at that level of SP is censorship 100%! and the detriment to reputation is the most critical part.. I've stopped using the @nanocheeze account until a feature to ban/block this type of toxic censoring downvoter is enabled.... I am not the only one that feels this way. Many people have been chased away from this platform. It's a very carefully planned tactic by themarkymark and he is a large number of people on Steem. He is playing out some sort of Legion fantasy I think.... Everyone that upvotes him is him.... mostly.... He has several alter egos I have been tracking.... I'm just done with it. I was enjoying steem a lot, but I have moved on until this is addressed. It's a broken system as is with users this powerful having the ability to beat up minnows. And he clearly enjoys it. He loves the drama. He tries to encourage retaliation to justify adding you to his perma downvote bot.... I just say whatever to the whole thing... I'll comment on this account from now on and watch my reputation go negative, and I will keep downvoting anyone supporting @themarkymark from @nanocheeze and I will continue to powerup the account until I become too annoying to ignore. Other than that, I will give him none of my energy or attention. him and his pals have been added to my upvote bot to downvote.... Simple. I can play his stupid game too.... and call him out on being a two faced piece of shit at the same time! And he thinks screenshotting angry replies means anything?? I double laugh at this asshole. Like I said, troll trying to incite anger.... Sad and simple fact is that he is forcing the community to do something about this type of whale behavior and he is going to be one of the first to suffer those community driven consequences.... and he fucking deserves it!
You do realize you were flagged 1% from a 486 SP account (yielding $0.000 rewards removed) because you posted off topic in a community before you broke down and had a childish outburst crying pedophile and scammer?

I was trying to do the math on the proposal where he created a blacklist of 46k steemians to target people to either not be upvoted, or to receive downvotes. I just don't know how possible, interesting, or beneficial it can be for the platform, especially when it results in posts being hidden as you mentioned.
I'm sorry to hear that it's turned you off to posting. I find a lot of the simulation theory stuff fascinating myself which is why I invoked you when talking about when people fall through the cracks of what should or should not be downvoted.
I think what people fail to realize is that when they hide people's posts on the main condenser the overwhelming feeling that you just got censored is absolutely infuriating. Either folks fail to realize this, or they really get off on screwing with people.
I’ve been in discord rooms before full of people who think it’s just a game, and some of them do really get off on it. It’s sad in the age of social media that has already shown the world how ugly this practice is. Also, trying to claim ownership over a generic hashtag is sketchy at best, the phenomenon is only unique to steem as far as I know.
