What a mess

I am totally scatter brain at the moment. Not entire sure what to focus on, so I just go through emotions and youtube videoes.

Sometime I say to myself, I wish I was Rich so I could just travel. But I honestly do have the money to travel, its just hard earned cash and that makes it hard to spend.
But working and saving/investing all the time is getting boring and provoke tiredness.
Also, money isn't everything even though its everywhere.

I kinda need to take some money off the table and spent on me doing something there feels good for the soul, which would traveling and learning new stuff for me.

I would love to commit to learning a new language like France or Dutch, but I can't seem to get started it seems like a big task.

One thing I've learned - yes, making money is important and all that. But you have to take care of your mental health. Doing the same shit every day and trying to make as much money as possible takes a toll on you mentally. You have to do things you enjoy at the same time to make sure that you can continue your hustle. Remember - you only get one mental health and you have to take care of it just like your physical health.

I took $20,000 out in May this year and bought a car and 2 kayaks … a 2018 VW Golf, and spent the summer driving around the Great Lakes with my kids, camping, kayaking, making movies, … we have earned back the $20,000 + with our movies and blogging on ProofofBrain, Blurt and other places. Mostly thanks to Cosmos.

Just lucky I guess .. There is a Cosmos-Dig NFT airdrop coming to those who hold Blurt and Cosmos so I bought a ton of Blurt and Cosmos to stake on Cosmostation to earn 10% … but then Cosmos went up 1,000 %

This is the best advice anyone can give. If you have the money, use it now to provide yourself with a piece of mind. Everyone and I mean everyone, needs to take a break to recharge. Your longevity depends upon it. You'll pay for it now or later. Taking that break now means you exert some control over your life. I think it would make your time off more enjoyable.

After your body forces it, taking that break later will prevent you from experiencing the joy you would have already had if you had rested earlier. At least, that's my opinion. Get your rest, friend.

100%

The only problem is I just started a new job and don't have any vacation days saved up, so it might take a while before I can :D

What I can do, is utilize my weekends on stuff I enjoy!

Using your weekends is a great alternative. My wife and I would work our butts off during the week getting work, school work, and home chores completed. The weekends were our own before kids and in-laws. We could pretty much do whatever we wanted. It was great.

I could start with getting a girlfriend, so I had more to do :p
My friends don't always have time and neither do I xD

Sounds amazing :D

There are pluses and minuses to relationships. I would enjoy your life first for what it gives you. If a relationship happens along the way, then you might be better for it. I didn't rush things on my end. When it happened, I just tagged along for the ride.

The ride has been blissful, nightmarish, and contentful. LOL, sometimes I didn't know what was going to happen.

Ofcouse there is and no I will not get into a relationship just because I could xD

But thats the beauty of the ride!

Yeah, I'll tell you that I had zero intent on marriage and kids up until I was almost 40. Then I moved to California to a good job and caught up to an old friend I had back in the day who found me on Facebook. Everything changed after that.

Not a lot of people can commit to something like a new language for the heck of it. I know because I'm one of them. I should get fluent in Spanish, but there's no functional need for it right now. My mother-in-law should learn English, but since everyone around her spoke Spanish she hasn't had a need to speak English.

Ye not sure whats the block though. I have a friend who just moved her from France and it would be amazing to surprise her with a conversation in France at some point :D

But we currently just speak English since there is really not a big need for me to learn France x)

How do you communicatw with your mothet-in-law then?

(Edited)

She speaks no English. I'm not fluent in Spanish, but I can speak it poorly yet well enough. I can't read or write fluently in Spanish. I would love to write in Spanish fluently and perhaps I shall. There's a market out there on Hive for spanish-speaking people I haven't tapped in to yet. It may be the motivation I'm looking for.

Yeah. I have access to a learning service called Rosetta Stone. I'm starting is in conjunction with my other studies, but will pick up when I'm done with school in December. On Hive, I'll be able to reach double or triple the normal audience. Well, once I can write intelligently. I can do it now, but it takes a reaaalllyyy long time. Stupid learning curve.

My wife would be more surprised than anyone else. I could tell her I learned the language better for my other Latina ladies. If I told her that I'd be able to pick up on my Spanish studies after I got out of the hospital. HA!

Dont know that service, is it good? I thought about buying a lanfuage course from BrightTrip is should be pretty unique.
You would hit a lot of people if you wroting in spanish aswell :D

Are you in the hospital??

Hey might be good to surprise the wife now and then :p

I don't think the language service matters. I picked Rosetta Stone because of earlier attempts years ago and I'm familiar and satisfied with their work.

No, lol. I'm not in the hospital, though I did sleep on the couch. During our argument I'd be happy to sleep on it since I'm a man of the wild; A one-man wolf pack if you will. We ended up laughing afterwards.

It's always good to keep things spicy with the wife. It definitely isn't boring at my house.
