Here we are, in the second half of April of the year 2022.

As I have mentioned in the past, originally this little account was created as a means to support PALNet and the Hive-Engine PAL tribal token.

But that plan pretty much became obsolete when the operators of PALNet decided to almost completely De-emphasize the token as a reward and curation initiative.

Although there are evidently other things that have been in the works and perhaps even are working, for an aspiring cat blogger like me, it wasn't really very useful.

A little over a year ago — when I decided to turn my attention back to this account — my PAL tokens were worth about $135.00. 14 months later, I'm sad to say that even though I actually have more PAL tokens, today they are worth slightly less than $6.00.

So I changed directions and decided to instead focus on the (at the time) new "Verify Your Brain" community and their VYB token. It seemed like a promising project!

My small stash of VYB tokens had some reasonably meaningful value as recently as a few months ago, but even though I now have 20% more tokens, their total value have gradually diminished to somewhat less than $4.00. Uh-oh...

And yes, I know the Cryptosphere is filled with risk and so on and so forth.

So right now I'm not going to make a long story out of well-intentioned projects that fail, but instead start casting about for something else to get involved with, at the Hive-Engine tribe level. Not that I intend to bail my two original pet projects: at this juncture I have so little invested in them that selling would provide a little more than a few cans of cat food!

Might as well hang on to them and hope someone gets the idea to bring them back to life!

The gentle art of building a very small account requires a lot of patience and trial-and-error. In the meantime, I've managed to claw my way up to just about 125 HivePower, so at at least resource credits won't be a problem!
