The Book of Job

I don't have much to say about Crypto these days it's pretty dark and lately I'm not really following much news. I don't know why, maybe the hype for me is finally over but I'm still a believer in blockchain technology. I think it could change the world, for the good but it's too difficult to explain rather it's easier to just use Hive.

Hive used to be a safe space for me, until I tagged it to my Facebook profile and people in my real life found a way to find my blog. I don't regret it though, because I regret nothing. Everything in life is guided through God.

People suffer, life is not fair, if you don't believe me then just read the book of Job. Job had everything was very rich and very grateful to God. But, one day the devil came and said to God that Job would not praise him the way he does if he had nothing. So, God tested the devil's theory and took everything from Job, his kids, his wealth, his house, he left only his life. But life is the greatest thing God gives us and because Job was still alive he praised in God and still sought forgiveness. What an inspiration and even though things did not work out for Job, life was not fair to him. He still praised God and in the kingdom of Heaven he is remembered for the sacrifice he made to humanity. That was his purpose, to show others the kind of strength in faith he had.

His strength is something I remember when I see how the devil has impacted my life. There was a time I was in a very dark place and we don't chose when the devil likes to show up, just like we can't predict the future. For me it was my health that collapsed and made me question my faith. I was not as strong as Job, I cursed the idea of God for so long. But, in the end I learned that nothing is forever and for all the highs you have in life you can expect some lows too. How I am preparing for that is by strengthening my faith in God and understanding of the stories from the bible. These stories made it into the bible by different authors throughout time to teach us how to be better humans so that we are worthy of Heaven.

So Why Does God Permit Evil

Why does God permit evil in this world? I don't think it's more of permitting evil but it just goes with free will. If God made us perfect and without free will, sure we would love God but would our creator be satisfied with that? We would be no better than a bot programmed to Love us humans and would do exactly as they were told. God wanted us to be more than slaves, but also desires our love and because of that evil comes with freewill and it's up to use to find the balance.

The only man who ever lived without Sin was Jesus and even the devil tried to tempt Jesus to turn from God during his 40 day fast. Satan says, "All these things I will give you if you fall down and do an act of worship to me." Jesus then replies "Get away, Satan! It is written: 'You shall worship the Lord your God and only Him shall you serve." (referencing Deuteronomy 6:13 and 10:20)

So God is needy and easily heeds the devil's advice... Hmmm seems like God needs to evolve a bit and find self love or have us suffering on and on

God gave us freewill and he is grateful for our love. In the end Job found peace with God and all returned back to him.
