Old Forester 1870 Original Batch is a classic bourbon whiskey that has a rich and complex flavor profile. The nose is full of aromas of oak, vanilla, and caramel, while the palate is dominated by flavors of toasted nuts, dried fruit, and a hint of spice. The finish is long and smooth, with a subtle sweetness that lingers on the tongue.

One of the standout features of Old Forester 1870 Original Batch is its exceptional balance. The flavors are well-rounded and harmonious, with no one element overpowering the others. This makes it a great choice for sipping neat or on the rocks, as well as for use in cocktails.

In terms of quality, Old Forester 1870 Original Batch does not disappoint. It is made using a combination of high-quality grains and a time-honored distillation process, which results in a smooth and consistent product. The bourbon is also aged for several years in oak barrels, which gives it its deep amber color and rich, woody flavors.

Overall, Old Forester 1870 Original Batch is a top-notch bourbon that is sure to please even the most discerning whiskey aficionado. If you're a fan of classic, well-balanced bourbons, this is definitely a bottle worth adding to your collection.

I need to get into more of the Old Forester stuff. I have a bottle of the barrel proof prohibition era stuff, but I don't drink it that often because it is such a high ABV. I have been meaning to pick up a bottle of OF that isn't quite as "hot", but I haven't gotten around to it yet. I might need to change that once I kill one of my other bottles.

It's been one of my favorites. Every bottle I have has been great. I think I have 4-5 different versions.

I just booked our spring break trip to Louisville the other day. I noticed that the old Forester distillery is within walking distance to our hotel!

Man this looks like better than Jim Beam and Jack Daniels. I saw you mentioned it would cost $24 but in Indonesia, I just searched it up, it's double the price 😂
