Today I want to share with you about one of the buildings in the city where I live, it is one of the most visited health centers by locals and visitors. El día de hoy quiero compartirles sobre uno de los edificios de la ciudad donde vivo, es uno de los centros de salud más visitados por propios y visitantes. Aquí vienen a las consultas personas del resto de las ciudades del país.

This health center is located in the Las Avenidas sector of the state of Monagas-Venezuela. It is a private health center.

It is a modern building. Up to the fifth floor we can find offices of various specialties, from traumatology to otorhinolaryngology. I have visited it frequently since I suffer from certain pathologies that need to be treated.

Es un edificio moderno. Hasta el piso cinco podemos encontrar consultorios de diversas especialidades, desde traumatología hasta otorrinolaringología. Lo he visitado con frecuencia ya que padezco de ciertas patologías que necesitan ser atendidas.

Before entering the building we can enjoy a delicious breakfast, juice or a delicious coffee.

Then, after climbing the stairs, we find a sign with a description of the specialties, names of the specialists, opening hours and address. This sign is always updated.

Antes de entrar al edificio podremos disfrutar de un delicioso desayuno, jugo o un riquísimo café.

Seguidamente luego de subir las escaleras encontramos la cartelera descriptiva de especialidades, nombres de los especialistas, horario de atención y dirección. Esta cartelera siempre está actualizada.

Despite being a small building, it has two elevators. Only one of them is currently in operation. With a capacity suggested by the technicians of a maximum of seven people.

A pesar de ser un edificio pequeño cuenta con dos ascensores. Sólo uno de ellos está en funcionamiento en estos momentos. Con una capacidad sugerida por los técnicos de máximo siete personas.

In its interior we can see an L-shaped structure in which are located the offices, bathrooms, stairs and guardatrapos. It is well illuminated. I could see several security cameras installed on each floor.

En su interior podemos apreciar una estructura en forma de L en la que se localizan los consultorios, baños, escaleras y guardatrapos. Está bastante iluminado. Pude ver varias cámaras de seguridad instaladas en cada piso.

The name of this property is Centro Medico. This particular building is intended for specialized outpatient consultations. Next to it is the medical center dedicated to emergencies.

El nombre de esta propiedad es Centro Médico. Este edificio en particular está destinado para las consultas externas especializadas. Al lado está el centro médico dedicado a las emergencias.

From the third floor of the outpatient medical center, the most modern, you can see other older ones in which they operate; opticians, laboratories, pharmacies, cafeteria, x-rays and the like.

Desde el tercer piso del centro médico de consulta externa, el más moderno, se pueden ver otros más viejos en los que funcionan; ópticas, laboratorios, farmacias, cafetín, rayos x y otros similares.

The building has very large windows. I had to travel to them to get telephone coverage. This is one of the disadvantages I saw there. Another detail is that none of the offices have a debit card payment system. To pay we must do it with physical or electronic money.

El edificio posee ventanales muy amplios. He debido desplazarme hasta ellos para lograr obtener cobertura telefónica. Es una de las desventajas que ví allí. Otro detalle es que ninguno de los consultorios cuenta con sistema de punto de pago con tarjetas de débito. Para cancelar debemos hacerlo con dinero en físico o electrónico.

Like all private health centers, there are clean bathrooms and toilets. Most of the time they are locked. To be used by patients, they must ask for the key in the consulting rooms where they attend the consultation. It is a good strategy to keep them clean. The facilities are also very modern and even though there is no decoration the atmosphere is pleasant. There is no toilet paper, so never go without it!

Como todo centro de salud privado cuenta con cuartos de baño y sanitarios totalmente limpios. La mayoría de las veces están cerrados. Para ser usados por los pacientes deben pedir la llave en los consultorios donde asisten a la consulta. Es una buena estrategia para mantenerlos limpios. Las instalaciones son muy modernas también y a pesar de que no hay ninguna decoración el ambiente es agradable. ¡No hay papel sanitario, así que nunca vayas sin él!

Three days a week I go with my mom to this center. To give you an idea of the costs, I can tell you that for physiatry consultations you must pay $50, which includes a complete evaluation. If your condition requires therapies, you can have them done there for $8 each.
Services such as gynecology, obstetrics, otorhinolaryngology have a cost of $40 per consultation.

Tres días a la semana asisto con mi mamá a este centro. Para que tengas una idea de los costos te cuento que para las consultas de fisiatría debes pagar 50$, incluye una evaluación completa. Si tu padecimiento requiere de terapias allí mismo puedes hacerlas por un costo de 8$ cada una.
Servicios como ginecología, obstetricia, otorrinolaringología tienen un costo de 40$ la consulta.

Como pueden notar este edificio tiene tanto dentro como fuera en su construcción mucho vidrio, todas las puertas y ventanas son de vidrio. Las paredes externas y las columnas están cubiertas con baldosas en color azul. Es un edificio muy bonito y llamativo.

As you can notice this building has both inside and outside in its construction a lot of glass, all doors and windows are made of glass. The external walls and columns are covered with blue tiles. It is a very beautiful and striking building.
