Yo soy Lelys, soy aficionada a tomar café. No puedo decir que soy adicta porque he podido estar muchos días sin consumirlo sin que esto me ocasione ansiedad o angustia. Confieso que me gusta mucho tomar café en panaderías y cafeterías. En casa todos los días preparamos café, solo o con leche. Este lo batimos a mano o en licuadora, siempre buscando ese sabor tan delicioso de los que sirven en las cafeterías. Para lograrlo hemos probado diversidad de marcas de café.

En Venezuela se cultiva y cosecha uno de los mejores granos de café del mundo. En los comercios podemos encontrar infinidad de marcas. Nos toca elegir según el gusto cuál llevaremos a la casa.

I am Lelys, I am a coffee drinker. I can't say I'm addicted because I've been able to go many days without drinking it without it causing me anxiety or anguish. I confess that I really like to drink coffee in bakeries and coffee shops. At home we prepare coffee every day, black or with milk. We blend it by hand or in a blender, always looking for that delicious flavor of the ones served in coffee shops. To achieve this we have tried a diversity of coffee brands.

In Venezuela one of the best coffee beans in the world is grown and harvested. In the stores we can find an infinity of brands. It is up to us to choose according to our taste which one we will take home.

Tomar café en Venezuela es una tradición que se transmite de generación en generación. Aquí estoy con mi mamá tratando de ponernos de acuerdo sobre cuál empaque de café llevaremos esta vez. Ella no puede pasar muchas horas sin tomar café. Durante el día se "moja los labios" entre cuatro o cinco veces. Es decir, no se toma una taza de café, ni siquiera media de una vez, pero sí pasa tomando sorbos durante el día. En la noche ya no lo prueba porque dice que le interrumpe el sueño.

Drinking coffee in Venezuela is a tradition that is passed down from generation to generation. Here I am with my mom trying to agree on which package of coffee to take this time. Los olores del café empaquetado nos despertó el deseo de tomar café. Por lo que nos fuimos a la panadería más cercana a degustar de un delicioso café con leche. Como suele suceder la mayoría de las veces este café lo acompañamos de un pan dulce o galleta. En esta ocasión mi hermana pidió pancitos semi dulces rellenos con queso blanco.

The smells of the packaged coffee awakened our desire for coffee. So we went to the nearest bakery to enjoy a delicious coffee with milk. As it usually happens most of the time, this coffee was accompanied by a sweet bread or cookie. On this occasion my sister ordered some semi-sweet bread filled with white cheese.

Mientras esperábamos sostuvimos una amena conversación. Mi mamá se sintió contenta por estar compartiendo con nosotras tan agradable momento.

While we were waiting we had a pleasant conversation. My mother was happy to be sharing such a pleasant moment with us.

Desde la mesa tomé algunas fotografías sin encender el flash, el ambiente es muy tranquilo y acogedor, aunque no muy iluminado. Es una de las panaderías que más nos gusta visitar. El pan que allí elaboran es muy bueno, igualmente los dulces y las pizzas.

From the table I took some pictures without turning on the flash, the atmosphere is very quiet and cozy, although not very well lit. It is one of the bakeries that we most like to visit. The bread they make there is very good, as well as the sweets and pizzas.

Nos trajeron los cafés bien calientes. Cada una de estas tazas de café tiene un costo de 1$ ( un dólar americano). El equivalente a 4,54 bsd al cambio actual y a 1 hive al valor de hoy.

The coffees were brought to us piping hot. Each of these cups of coffee cost 1$ (one US dollar). The equivalent of 4.54 bsd at the current exchange rate and 1 hive at today's value.
