An Organic Vegetable Garden Of The Ages...
Hey everyone. Any chilli fans out there? My mate who lives next door sneaky Pete has the most incredible vegetable garden with everything from corn (mielies) chilli, sunflowers, spinach, kale, a host of companion flowers (borage) and more.
Any guesses what the top pic is? One of the original real hot chilli with the decadent mexican name "habanero" these are not quiet ripe and still need to turn to a mild red/orange.
The array of varying chilli species in the garden some multi colored upwards facing birds eye type, some standard green/red cayenne all packed with anti-oxidants and high in vitamin c.
What would a vegetable garden be without sunflowers and honey bees? Can you spot the honey bee here?
I took these pics at dusk. They seemed lighter on the camera with the flash, sadly came out a little dark so bee sadly not too visible. But she's there.
Why all the flowers in the veggie patch? Many flowers are edible as well as the added bonus of "companion planting" naturally keeping critters at bay.
All this incredible medicine in one small patch.
Have an amazing Thursday.
Love, light and blessings
Cheer$;)
Lovely little garden!
